Thatched Cottage Hen Party House in New Forest

This stunning accommodation is located in the heart of the New Forest. The half-acre garden is completely private for your exclusive use and even comes with its own little stream. There is a summerhouse, large trampoline, climbing frame, **Hot Tub** and ample parking for up to six cars.
This gorgeous eighteenth-century thatched cottage has an exquisite traditional farmhouse finish. It is within walking distance to the excellent **Horse and Groom** country pub (perfect for a quick drink). The local village shop and post office are a mere five minutes’ walk from the cottage. There are six bedrooms which sleep a total of twelve, plus a darling little shepherd’s hut with a further double bedroom to sleep two.
Location: Fordingbridge & Ringwood
Found on the outskirts of the Forest a short distance away from the market town of Fordingbridge, this gorgeous traditional cottage is easy to reach by car. There are plenty of nature walks and cycle routes available to you right on your doorstep. **Castle Hill** is a fifteen-minute walk and from there you will have breathtaking views over the landscape of the New Forest Countryside.
The bustling town of **Ringwood** is only ten minutes away. **Salisbury**, a historical cathedral city with a rich culture and shopping scene, is about a twenty-minute drive.
Rustic Interiors & Log Burners
As you step inside, the rustic décor is finished to a very high standard with traditional wooden beams in the ceiling, exposed brick, and wood burners in the living areas. The large lounge draws you in and you will be cosy in here with the large **Log Burner** to keep you toasty.
A gorgeous conservatory sits at the back of the house. This is a stunning open and bright space with rattan furniture which suits the farmhouse style of the entire cottage. There is a dining room with a large dining table to seat all fourteen guests. A second wood burner is along one side of this lovely room, perfect for any overspill from the lounge.
Kitchen & Farmhouse Dining
The well-equipped kitchen should have everything you need to cook up your breakfast, lunch or dinner – but don’t forget there is always the option to get a hired chef so you don’t have to do the hard work!
The fully functional kitchen has a large fridge freezer, crockery, plates, pans, and glassware. There is also a toaster, oven, hob, and microwave. There is also a second dining table here with seating for seven guests—a wise decision considering this is where the drinks are usually kept and tends to be the most social room of the cottage!
Games Room & Entertainment
For your entertainment, above the car port, there is a **Games Room** equipped with a football table and Table Tennis. It's the perfect spot for a tournament with the girls!

Bedroom 1: Double with en-suite (Ground floor).
Bedroom 2: King with en-suite (there is also a secret stairway...).
Bedroom 3: 2 x Twin beds with a hand basin.
Bedroom 4: 2 x Twin beds.
Bedroom 5: Double bed.
Bedroom 6: Double bed.
Shepherds Hut: King size bed (can separate into 2 x twins) with a washroom and heated towel rail.
All bed linen is provided, and each bedroom has its own unique style making this a superb New Forest hen do accommodation.
