Sleeping anywhere up to sixteen guests, this **18th-century Cotswold Manor House** really does need to be seen to be believed. You’ll feel like you are one of the posh characters in a Jilly Cooper novel as you enjoy the sumptuous scenery and the stunning architecture of this absolutely desirable party house.
Location: Near Bath & Bristol
The Great Barn may look like it’s located in the middle of nowhere, with gorgeous views in every direction, but the great news is that it’s only about **40 mins drive from either Bath or Bristol**.
This is perfect for any hen do because it means that whether you want to go out or stay in, you can do both in absolute luxury! It’s easy to get to by road, meaning that no matter where you and the girls are travelling from, you’ll have no problem meeting up.
Two Reception Rooms for Activities
Walking into the Great Barn is an experience in itself, as you enter through a gorgeous solid oak front door and step into a sumptuous hallway. You’ll then find two ground floor reception rooms, both with a different feel – one is a formal drawing room type of affair, whereas the other is a bit more relaxed in tone.
Having two separate rooms is always a great idea. If you fancy arranging for some activities to take place at the property then you’ve got the space to do it. We have plenty of on-site activities that we can arrange, including dance classes, cocktail making, and life drawing.
Contemporary Kitchen with Aga
There is a well-equipped kitchen which holds a contemporary feel but still includes a wide range of modern appliances, including an electric **Aga**. This makes it a perfect place to create whatever types of meal you fancy. Whether it’s a quick cooked breakfast or an extravagant seven-course dinner, the kitchen has the space and facilities to ensure that it will be perfect – either for you or for a **Private Chef** if you choose to spoil yourselves!
Three Dining Options: Formal, Orangery & Al Fresco
For dining, this luxury house has three amazing options:
1. The Dining Room: Intimate formal surroundings with stunning oak furniture and a traditional atmosphere.
2. The Orangery: A bright, friendly, less formal room which is perfect for afternoon teas, lunches, or brunch.
3. The Patio: Eat al fresco while enjoying the stunning views. With plenty of chairs and tables available, everyone will be comfortable.
8 En-Suite Bedrooms
The property has a total of eight bedrooms, four on one floor and four on another. All of these are traditional and elegant and **every single room incorporates an en-suite**. No matter who is sharing with who, you’ll have no jealousy issues or people insisting that they got the “best room”, because they are all amazing.
With eight easy-to-access bathrooms, it is easy for you and the girls to all get ready at the same time without running into any problems regarding a lack of space.
