LOCATION
I’ve already told you that Grand Hookstone is located in the gorgeous Yorkshire scenery, but I suppose you may want a few more details than that? The property is in Harrogate, a stunning town located about thirty five minutes drive from York city centre, which makes it a perfect place for a luxury hen house. It feels like you are relaxing in the countryside, but you are just a few minutes away from all the normal facilities you’d expect from any town, and just over half an hour away from one of the most popular hen weekend destinations in the country – so if you want a big night out but still need to get back to your rustic luxury hen house afterwards, you won’t have any problem whatsoever.
KITCHEN AND DINING
Let’s start with the kitchen shall we? After all, you’ll all spend some time here throughout your weekend, whether that’s to cook food, have a chat or simply grab the next bottle of wine out of the fridge, so it’s essential that the kitchen meets the standards of any hen do. BEDROOMS
As already mentioned, the property sleeps anywhere up to twelve people, and these are split across four bedrooms, ensuring that each group has their own element of privacy while still keeping the party going if you are in the mood to do so!
BEDROOM 1 – Ground floor bedroom with king sized bed (Sleeps 2)
BEDROOM 2 – First floor bedroom with king sized bed (Sleeps 2)
BEDROOM 3 – First floor bedroom with king sized bed and an en-suite (Sleeps 2)
BEDROOM 4 – Huge top floor bedroom with a super king sized bed and a double sofa bed, as well as an en-suite (Sleeps 4)
And for those of you who can do maths and are wondering where the last two people are staying, there’s also a sofa bed in the lounge.
BATHROOMS
As mentioned, two of the bathrooms have en-suite facilities, and the property also has an additional full bathroom on the first floor (with both a bath and separate shower), and a cloakroom on the ground floor as well, giving you a total of four bathrooms to be used between the ten of you, which should make it very easy to ensure that everyone is able to get ready for a big night out without treading on each others toes!
LOUNGE
Second only to the kitchen, the lounge is always a vital room for any luxury hen house. After all, you all need somewhere to spend time together with a drink in hand and some kind of ridiculous program on the TV, don’t you? Well the great news is that Grand Hookstone does one of those things that many other properties fail to do – it gives you enough seating in the lounge to accommodate your maximum number of guests. Yes, there are ten seats in the lounge, spread across two three seater sofas, one small double sofa and an over-sized cuddle chair for the two of you who like to sit up close and personal with each other.

Superb Hen House Games Room & Garden
The inside of this house all sounds amazing, doesn’t it. You must be thinking “there can’t be more, can there?” Well the fact is, yes – there can be more, and there is. In fact, when you head out into the garden, you’ll find not only a lovely serene area with plenty of seating and some gorgeous views, but you’ll also find the biggest surprise of them all – the games room in the garden! Yes, that’s right, we’ve got another communal space for you and the girls to hang out in, and this one has a bunch of entertainment options you weren’t expecting!
There’s a full on shuffleboard setup, as well as a table football table and a pool table – so no matter which of those sports are the one that you prefer, you and the girls can spend hours entertaining yourselves. Oh, and I forgot to mention there is also an arcade machine – so if any of you enjoy a bit of video gaming, then this is yet another reason for you to be spending time here at Grand Hookstone.
