Heatherstone Manor is positioned on the picturesque western edge of the Yorkshire Dales, offering panoramic countryside views while remaining remarkably accessible—just a five-minute drive from Junction 37 of the M6, making it an easy central meeting point for groups arriving from across the UK. For those arriving by rail, Oxenholme Lake District station is just a 15-minute taxi ride away with direct main-line connections from London, Manchester, and Scotland.

For supplies, casual day trips, and pints, the quaint historic market town of Sedbergh is just three miles away, featuring independent shops, cafes, and great traditional pubs like The Black Bull and The Dalesman.

For a big food shop, head into the town of Kendal, just a 20-minute drive away. Famous for its Kendal Mint Cake and well worth a visit in itself, you’ll find an Asda, Aldi, Morrisons, and Sainsbury’s, most of which also deliver directly to the property if you prefer to arrange a grocery drop for your arrival.
