Everyone has had that fantasy of wanting to live alone on a private island, right? Well, not live alone per se, obviously you’d want to live with your friends, but to be able to just to do anything you like without worrying about neighbours.
This Private Island Hen House has everything you’re going to need to enjoy a perfect long weekend away, and the great news is that it sleeps up to twenty-four of you, so you aren’t restricted to just a small number of people. (It’s not quite an island, but it’s close enough!). It’s a true destination hen do, because once you are there you’ll barely want to leave!
Location: Near Lancaster & Lake District
Located in the gorgeous Lancaster countryside just half an hour from the **Lake District**, this is a perfect location for ladies who like to relax and enjoy the countryside and their own company.
Entering The Island, the first thing that will strike you is just how opulent and luxurious the property is. It’s absolutely stunning! The hallway leads you to the beautiful staircase (complete with a ridiculously huge mirror opposite), and the myriad of rooms that feed off the long hallway mean that everything is easily accessible. With rooms spanning three different floors, it’s like you are in your own private hotel.
Grand Dining Room & Kitchen
The property boasts a gorgeous dining room that can easily seat all of your guests in one fell swoop, so whether you are just grabbing some pizza together or sitting down to a multi-course meal, you’ll have no problem doing that here.
The kitchen itself is high quality, modern and really well equipped as you would imagine! Containing everything you could possibly need for cooking on your weekend away, it’s just another example of this stunning luxury private island hen house.

As you might imagine, since it sleeps up to twenty-four people, there are plenty of bedrooms in this property! In fact, there are nine, and I’ve gone through a quick breakdown of them below:

Bedroom 3: 2 Single Beds
Bedroom 4: 2 Double Beds and 2 Single Beds
Bedroom 5: 1 King Sized Bed
Bedroom 6: 1 Double Bed
Bedroom 7: 2 Single Beds
Bedroom 8: 1 Double Bed
Bedroom 9: 1 King Sized Bed and 1 Double Bed
You might worry that a house that can sleep twenty-four people might not have enough bathrooms, but I can assure you that is most definitely NOT the case. This property has five bathrooms (as well as an additional ground floor cloakroom), and they are well arranged throughout the property.
Hair Salon, Casino & Cinema Room
This list is going to be quite large – because the number of unexpected but supremely welcome additional rooms is higher than you would imagine!
Pool Room: Featuring a full-sized pool table as well as some comfy sofas and a gorgeous view out the windows.
Home Cinema: Filled with comfy seats and a state-of-the-art screen and sound system. Whether you want to huddle together for a horror film or sing along with Mamma Mia, this is the place.
Hair Salon: Yes, really. There is, on-site, a private hair salon – so whether you want to get someone in to do your hair, or if one of you fancies doing the hair of others, it’s something you’re never going to find at any other hen house!
Private Casino: The last option is by far the most unique. This private island Hen House has a casino next to the kitchen, where you can all settle down and play blackjack, poker, or roulette to your heart's content.
Hot Tub, Sauna & River Views
With so much going on inside this house, you’d be forgiven for assuming there wasn’t much going on outside. Well, to start with, it’s just the gorgeous location – the house boasts amazing views of the **River Lune**, and you are able to see Otter Island from just about every area.
There is also a **Private Hot Tub** AND **Private Sauna** outside, to help you relax even more as you are spending the best weekend of your life in this luxury property.
