Location

Located in the village of Caldicot on the southern tip of the Wye Valley, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty in Wales and is a perfect place for you and the girls to relax and enjoy yourselves. But don’t panic – it’s not in the middle of nowhere! In fact, it’s only twenty minutes drive from Bristol, thirty minutes from Cardiff and thirty-five minutes from Bath – which mean you are able to choose from a huge number of options as far as whether you want a Bristol, Bath or Cardiff Hen Do!

And then, right down the middle of the dining room is a gorgeous long wooden table with benches either side. Lounge
The lounge is located in the great hall of the mystery mansion, and is a perfect mixture of old and new. It combines the style and history of the eight hundred year old building with modern facilities – a flat screen TV filled with all the latest streamers such as Netflix, Disney+ and Now TV while also offering a DVD library to choose from. There’s a huge fireplace and a wide range of comfortable seating, to ensure that whether you spend one hour or twelve hours in the lounge, you’ll be relaxed in one of the most perfect houses for hen dos you’ve ever seen.
Outside
There are gardens surrounding the manor, enclosed by a large stone wall but still able to take in the amazing views around you. There’s even a medieval barbeque if you want to make your visit just a little more authentic. Bedrooms
The Mystery Mansion has a range of bedrooms that will appeal to the entire Cardiff hen do. There are two master bedrooms, both of which have king sized, four poster, medieval carved beds. The third bedroom has a king sized bed and a single bed, the fourth is a twin room, and the fifth has a double bed and a single bed. Once you add these all up and include the sofa bed in the lounge as well, this mansion can comfortably sleep fourteen hens – how many other houses for hen dos can say that?
Bathrooms
There are two shared bathrooms in this, the most amazing of all houses for hen dos. There’s one on each floor. Both have claw foot baths and showers, giving you plenty of options to refresh yourselves during an amazing hen do at the Mystery Mansion. There are also three further WC’s throughout the property – two en-suite ones belonging to the master bedroom and one in the entry foyer.
