River Hall is a stunning stag and hen do party house located about 20 minutes outside of Ipswich town centre. Location

Getting to River Hall is easy using a sat nav or a traditional map and on arrival you’ll find plenty of space for parking. So, you’re at the property and you’ve settled in, now what? Well just because the location of the River Hall would be best described as rural, you certainly won’t be short of things to do, see and explore on your weekend away. For those wanting some vibrant nightlife or access or town centre activities, The River Hall is only 7 miles south of Ipswich so the bright lights of a major town is not far away. Ipswich plays host of a number of stag and hen do activities such as the challenging Escape Rooms or perhaps a serene and relaxing Summer Cruise down the River Orwell to take in the sights and sounds off the beaten track. The town also has the superb Boom Battle Bar that offers indoor axe throwing, Shuffleboard and other popular pub style games, which is well worth a visit if you’re planning to head into Ipswich. Race goers will no doubt appreciate this accommodation as it gives you easy access to Newmarket Racecourse, another stag and hen favourite. Ipswich really does have it all. Other worth mentions in the area include a host of water sports, High Ropes Course and there’s even a Dry Ski Slope if you fancy having a go at skiing, although Toboggans and Ringo’s are available if you prefer to stay closer to the ground!

If exploring is on the itinerary, then look no further than Ipswich waterfront with it’s range of bars and restaurants which offers beautiful views over the marina whilst having a bite to eat or drink. For those wishing to laze around on the beach, Felixstowe is a short drive away. There’s plenty of things to keep you occupied and more importantly, having fun and making memories at the River Hall Party House.

The House

Outside

When talking (or typing in this case) about The River Hall Stag and Hen Party House, it makes sense to start with the outside area, firstly, it’s the first thing you roll up to when you arrive and secondly, it’s here where some of those chic features we mentioned earlier live. On of the highlights for most groups will the the large Hot Tub, which is available and heated all year round. There’s also a sauna which is a really lovely addition. The grounds themselves are well looked after and there is plenty of outdoor furniture including pub style benches and tables and loungers. The garden is large enough for any lawn games you want to play or simply lounge around enjoying the weather on the lush greenery. There’s also barbeque facilities for you to use if you fancy getting some gilling on the go for some alfresco fare.

Lounge

There are two lounges each with sizeable sofas and chairs each reception area has a feature open fireplace which is perfect for those cooler evenings and a large smart tv is also available for movie nights. Downstairs you’ll also find a utility room with an extra fridge freezer for those essential supplies as well as a convenient toilet to save you rushing upstairs every time you need to spend a penny.

Bedrooms

All bed linen and towels are provided, and each bedroom is decorated in a modern neutral colour scheme making the space light and airy. The spacious rooms ensure you Ipswich stag or hen do has plenty of space, so you’ll never feel cramped when trying to get a good comfortable night’s rest.

On the ground floor you’ll find a spacious master bedroom with ensuite facilities including a shower, toilet and sink. The bedroom also has a couch, which doubles up as a pull-out bed and there is some bedroom furniture to store your belongings

Upstairs is where you’ll find the remaining 5 bedrooms. All are spacious and offer some bedroom furniture to store your belongings. Three of the 5 bedrooms on the first floor are also ensuite, which is a nice touch, so your Ipswich stag or hen do won’t be scrapping to use the loo or have a shower in order to freshen up for a day or evening exploring the local area or nearby nightlife.

Kitchen & Diner

The large open plan Kitchen and Diner area is a great social space for your group. So whether you’re planning to play some classic stag or hen do party games that you’ve organised or you wish to enhance your stag or hen do celebration with one of our amazing ‘in-house’ activities, this is the perfect space. The large dining table is capable of seating all 16 members of your party so mealtimes can still be enjoyed together. Some of our most popular in-house activities include a Private Chef, Murder Mystery evening with live actors or the hilarious Comedy Roast, which features a professional comedian visiting the River Hall Ipswich Party House and roasting the man of the hour or the bride to be (with some prior assistance from the group, of course!)

The kitchen area as you can imagine is spacious and includes all the kitchen equipment, utensils, cutlery and glassware you would need for your celebratory weekend away and mod cons like a washing machine and dishwasher ensure you can enjoy more partying rather than cleaning up. The stylish Aga style cooker and heater makes for a nice centrepiece to the Kitchen area.
