LOCATION

Rivers Countryside Mansion is a mansion house in the countryside (I know, you’d guessed that from the name, hadn’t you?) and it is located in the gorgeous countryside near the Welsh border. With views over the River Wye and all the open countryside beyond, this is really somewhere special for you and the girls to stay – you will feel so calm, collected and relaxed. And don’t worry, if you want a night out in a big city, both Gloucester and Cardiff are within an hours drive of the property, so you can combine a trip out with your large luxury hen do house stay.

INSIDE

Walking into Rivers Countryside Mansion is an experience in itself! You enter and find yourself in a long entrance hall that leads to a selection of communal areas – in fact, if you enter and take the first door on your left, you’ll find yourselves in the large lounge area, with huge windows to take in the gorgeous views, comfy sofas and a huge TV for entertainment, some of you may not want to explore any further than that!

KITCHEN AND DINING

The Kitchen is well-equipped and filled with convenient accessories and equipment. Two ovens a large fridge, microwave and more will mean that whether you are looking to cook a huge complicated meal or whether you just need somewhere to make bacon sandwiches in the morning, you’ll be more than covered for all your kitchen needs. And as far as somewhere for you to all eat together, there is a lovely dining room with patio doors out to the back of the property, multiple tables so that all thirty-six of you can sit down and eat together, and a gorgeous picture wall showing off art and photographs from across the years.

BEDROOMS

As you can imagine for a property that sleeps up to thirty-six people, there are plenty of bedrooms – eleven in fact! These are split across the first and second floor of the property, and with all the bedrooms being different, it’s worth having a glance down this list to see which are going to be best for which members of your party.

BATHROOMS

At Rivers Countryside Mansion, there are en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom, and an additional cloakroom on the ground floor as well, meaning that you’re never going to have a problem finding a bathroom if you need one.

ADDITIONAL ROOMS

As well as the myriad of rooms I’ve already described to you, the property has a couple of other communal areas worth mentioning. The first is the study, which also contains a table football table – perfect if you fancy a little bit of a competitive game. And then the second is the room next to the dining room, which is the bar. Yes, that’s right, the Rivers Countryside Mansion has a bar (complete with pool table) for you and the girls to congregate in and enjoy a drink or three – all sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

OUTSIDE

The outside of this mansion is just as opulent as the inside. There are gorgeous views of the stunningly landscaped grounds and gardens – after all, the property has a total of 3.6 acres, so everything you look out at is likely to be a part of the mansion! There are some amazing terraces, and of course the traditional barbecue options are available as well, so if you don’t want to cook in the gorgeous kitchen but instead want to enjoy the stunning views as you barbecue a burger or sizzle a sausage, then you can do so. Hot Tub hire is an optional extra, so please request one when you enquire.

ADDITIONAL COTTAGE

As mentioned at the start of the page – if you have more than thirty-six people coming, there is also an additional cottage that can be rented as a part of the package as well. This adds three bedrooms to the list (with a total of eight more bed spaces) as well as its own lounge/dining room and kitchen – just another option that makes this property so amazing.
