Luxury Hen Party House (Former Hotel)
Looking for a large luxury hen house is always a challenge that needs careful consideration. Luckily we’re experts in the field, and one of our most common recommendations tends to be the White Horse House. Originally a four-star hotel, it was converted a while ago to become the perfect large luxury hen house.
It sleeps twenty-six people and is an absolutely stunning place to spend a weekend. In fact, you could go so far as to say that it is an idyllic retreat, allowing you to separate yourselves from the rat race and indulge in a weekend of relaxation, recuperation, and rejoicing.
Location: Wye Valley & Riverside
Located on the edge of the woods in the **Wye Valley** region, White Horse House is an astounding property. It’s by the river allowing for some stunning views and is located next to a water sports hire centre if you fancy trying something a bit different.
With a local pub and restaurant just five minutes' walk away, it’s a perfect balance whether you want to stay at the house all weekend and just treat yourselves, or whether you fancy a little walk and a drink at one of the most friendly local pubs you can imagine.
Lounge with Private Bar
On arrival, you’ll find yourselves in a stunning entrance hall, with a huge lounge off to one side. And trust me when I say huge, I’m not lying. The lounge was once two rooms that have now been combined into one.
Best of all, it has a **Private Bar** built into one half of the room! Whether you want to serve each other glasses of wine or you have a cocktail mixologist amongst you who wants to impress you all with a decadent daiquiri, you’ll soon make this lounge your home. There are all mod-cons spread throughout – with Wi-Fi, **off-road parking for up to 16 cars**, and Smart TVs dotted throughout the building.
Commercial Kitchen & Panoramic Dining
For a large luxury hen house, you need a large luxury kitchen. The White Horse House goes one step further, giving you a **Fully Commercial Kitchen** at your fingertips. It doesn’t matter whether you are trying to make a basic chilli or knocking up a seven-course tasting menu, this kitchen is perfectly designed.
If you decide to push the boat out and have a **Private Chef** come in to make you the perfect dinner, they’ll be very comfortable in this kitchen as well.
The dining room is excellent too. It offers plenty of space for everyone to dine together, as well as offering **Panoramic Views** over the river. So when you all sit down to eat, you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery.
12 En-Suite Bedrooms
The White Horse House sleeps twenty-six people spread across twelve bedrooms. As you can imagine, with this having previously been a hotel, those rooms are gorgeous.

Bedroom 5: Double bed with en-suite bathroom
Bedroom 6: King sized bed (or twins) with en-suite shower

Bedroom 9 (Suite): Split into two rooms (King bed + Single & Sofa bed) with en-suite shower

Bedroom 12: King sized bed with sofa bed & en-suite bathroom
As you’ve already seen, all bar one of the rooms have en-suite facilities! There is also another bathroom and a cloakroom on the ground floor, meaning there are **13 bathrooms** for the 12 bedrooms. Safe to say there’s unlikely to be many queues for the shower.
Games Room & Entertainment
The other communal area that you are likely to be spending some time in is the **Games Room**. This is a haven for those of you with a competitive streak, as it contains a pool table, a table football table, and air hockey.
Riverside Gardens & Hot Tub
As already mentioned, the White Horse House is on the side of the river, so one of the nicest things to do is take your glass of wine outside and marvel at the peace and quiet. There is a **Hot Tub** on the property (optional hire), which can be a great addition to any evening outside.
