Situated in a beautiful Aberdeenshire village, The Scottish Escape is a prime example of a countryside hen do retreat with the benefit that the whole Party House is yours for the duration of your hen party and being rural, you’ll have complete privacy to enable your hen party makes the most of your time together. As you arrive you’ll see that the outside is instantly welcoming and you’re only a twenty-minute walk to the village which gives you a chance to explore the local area, visit one of the pubs or grab some essentials. The bungalow sleeps up to fifteen guests over seven bedrooms, meaning your hens will have plenty of space and not feel cramped. There is plenty of onsite parking for you and there is free Wi-Fi / internet access throughout your stay to ensure you can put the highlights on your socials. The property includes all the facilities you’d need for an amazing hen weekend and a large dining room with enough seating for all guests. A sizeable conservatory area is warm and bright and can be divided down into two separate areas if needed or just the one big room, complete with a bar down one end.

LOCATION

Nestled in between Aberdeen and Inverness, this impressive Scotland Party House is easy to reach by car with Aberdeen only a fifty-minute car journey away. Inverness is two hours away by car. The nearby village you can find restaurants, supermarkets and pubs. You will find this is a very central location from which to discover major attractions such as Balmoral Castle, Grampian Transport Museum, many distilleries and some very well good golf courses with a mixture of park and heathland courses if you fancy hitting the links on your hen do. INSIDE

This fabulous accommodation is immediately welcoming, with a large oak effect kitchen including feature island as its focal point. Beautiful light fixtures bring out the gold edging of the décor with a wood effect dado rail all the way round the walls breaking up the white of the paint and matching in with the oak effect theme. This Is a lovely social space, and the well-equipped kitchen has everything you should require for your stay. The conservatory is also a bright and sociable area and has been thoughtfully decorated in navy colours with reds and whites. A hardwood floor compliments the handcrafted furniture such as the coffee table and cabinet and it is adorned with a cosy rug to match the colour scheme. Lovely views go out to the garden and play areas, with the long wide windows letting in ample light. There is also a darling little private bar area to one end of the conservatory along with four bar stools. This area really lends itself to a sophisticated afternoon tea that can be enjoyed before breaking open the bubbles and enjoying the relaxation the hot tub has to offer. A formal dining area seats up to fourteen and a second dining table is in the kitchen area. A beautiful chandelier and curtain valence compliment the dark wood in this room giving off a strong vintage feel to the room. Bedrooms are stylish and easy with a soft carpet underfoot and each room has its own colour scheme.

The Kitchen

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for the budding chef of your party to cook you up a storm for breakfast! There are four fridges and a freezer you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans and glassware you will need for your stay. A kettle, hot plate, oven and hob are all positioned to make this space user friendly and there is a dishwasher and microwave for minimal effort requirements when the fun takes over.

Bedrooms

There are seven bedrooms with the following configuration, all have televisions set up for your entertainment. Crisp fresh bed linen and fresh towels are all provided for you.

1 x King with an ensuite Jacuzzi bathroom. This grand king size room has a magnificent four poster bed – certainly one for the special guest and their maid of honour!

Outside & The Hot tub

Take a step out of this superb bungalow and you will be greeted by a delightful garden; there is plenty of room here for roaming or playing games with a large patio area accessible through the conservatory. Plenty of seating is available here plus outside dining area. There is a second patio area at the back of the bungalow which is also superb for entertaining. This includes more seating and a fabulous space for hosting a BBQ or starting off your evening with outside nibbles and bubbles. There is also a pond, a well and a basketball court on the five acres of the surrounding grounds of the property. There is a small gateway which also leads through for access to the beautiful hot tub. A place where you can lie back and watch for shooting stars under a sky lit by the moon and minimal other light pollution in this rural piece of heaven.
