Location
This house is PERFECTLY located for any Bath Hen Do. It’s in the BA1 postcode, which (if you can’t tell) places it smack bang in the middle of the city. In fact, it’s so close to everything that the Thermae Bath Spa is just ten minutes walk away, and if you want to stop for a cocktail on the way (or the way back), you’ll be spoilt for choice! There are a range of bars on that ten minute journey, including Revolution and Slug and Lettuce, both of which are just two minutes away from the house, making it one of the most perfect hen do places to stay in the city.
Essentially, whatever you want to do in Bath, whether you are filling your weekend with activities or whether you are looking to spend some time sightseeing or shopping (the second of which I highly recommend!), the location of the Sundeck is perfectly placed. Within a few minutes walk you can be in one of Bath’s beautiful parks, exploring the history of the city, or exploring the boutiques and popular shops on Milsom Street.
From a travel standpoint, the house is pretty well located as well! There is a car park just a few minutes walk from the house that you can park in if you decide to drive, and if you prefer to arrive by public transport, the Bath Spa Train station is just fifteen minutes walk (or five minutes drive), so it really is one of the most perfect hen do places to stay in the area.
The House
Open Plan Dining Room / Kitchen
The open plan dining room and kitchen has to be seen to be believed. If we start at the kitchen end, you’ll find that it provides you everything you need to keep yourselves fed and watered throughout your Bath Hen Do. With all of the usual facilities such as an oven, a hob, a kettle, a toaster and a microwave (as well as a dishwasher and a huge array of wine glasses), the kitchen will provide a perfect place for you and the girls to have a meal – whether you are preparing it yourself or have gone for the ultimate luxury of hiring a private chef in for the evening.
The Dining area is just as well designed as the kitchen. A large table for you and the girls to sit around, with a couple of comfy chairs scattered about as well, make this the perfect venue for food, drinks or just hanging out. There’s a TV on the wall so you can have it playing the brides favourite show as you enjoy a glass or two of bubbles. Again, there’s plenty of space in here, so if you fancied an activity in the house, we’d highly recommend the Mobile Cocktail Making. After all, they’ll come to you and show you how to make the best cocktails you’ve ever tasted, and you don’t even have to walk anywhere afterwards! Outside
Now, when considering hen do places to stay, you might think that one of the disadvantages of choosing a hen house in the middle of the city is that you wouldn’t get any outdoor space, but that’s not the case here at the Sundeck. In fact, there is a beautiful outdoor area with just enough garden furniture so that you can all make the most of this wonderful space.
Bedrooms
Sleeping up to fourteen guests, this house has plenty of room for all of you to live and sleep comfortably, yet another reason why it’s one of the best hen do places to stay. There are three bedrooms, one with four single beds in, and the other two containing three single beds and a bunkbed in each. All of them are beautifully furnished, and give you a lovely space to call your own for the duration of your Bath Hen Do.
Bathrooms
There are two full bathrooms in the property, with an additional WC as well, meaning that whether you are trying to avoid queues first thing in the morning or whether you are trying to get ready to go out for a big night out, you won’t be stepping on each others toes in this, the most perfect of all the Bath Hen Do places to stay.
