INTRO

In arguable one of the most picturesque parts of the country you’ll find this absolutely stunning stag and hen party cottage. Surrounded by beautiful lochs, flowing rivers and the rolling hills and mountains of the Scottish Highlands, The King Party house is impressive and certainly has the ‘wow’ factor from the moment you arrive, making it a fabulous venue for your stag or hen weekend. This beautiful Scottish cottage is located in the heart of Scotland at Argyll’s ‘Secret Coast’ just north of Loch Riddon, and can be reached by car and/or ferry. Whichever route you choose, it’s sure to be a feast for the eyes with all the scenery and countryside you’ll pass on your journey there. Once you’ve arrived you will find plenty of parking available and despite being rural, the accommodation is perfectly able to host any number of our amazing hen party activities, that can be enjoyed in the property. This cottage really lends itself to large stag and hen dos, the numerous reception rooms and different bed configurations mean the King is perfect if everyone wants their own bed and has plenty of room to move around and chill or party the night away without feeling cramped or small. The shared access to a games barn with snooker, darts and table tennis is an awesome feature here – as is the access for an hour a day to the heated outdoor pool. There is also a sauna on the first floor and a hot tub on one of the two outdoor terraced areas, giving this amazing hen and stag party house some superb facilities for your group to enjoy throughout your stay.

LOCATION

The views and countryside are spectacular, and if you have time and want to take a walk in the countryside, there’s plenty of ancient settlements dotted around to give you a feeling of times gone by, theres also a fantastic and informative Heritage Centre to discover the story and history of the village and its farming heritage over the last 150 years. There are pleasant walks along the shore of the Kyles of Bute, great for walkers and cyclists, leading to a small 19th century church, a stroll in the fresh air is one of the best ways to clear your head from last night’s celebrations! This impressive party house accommodation is just under two hours by car from Glasgow, making it the idyllic place if you want to surround yourself with nature and not too many people who can disturb you.

INSIDE

The open plan kitchen and living space is the real draw of this accommodation. The living area with cosy open fireplace and sofas to fold into are very inviting and welcome you to play games or plan a murder mystery adventure to entertain your party on one of the evenings. With underfloor heating throughout the ground floor – you won’t be getting chilly, and the designer kitchen on the opposite side of the room to the fireplace also lends itself to being a prime social space. A wooden table and matching bench sit in the middle of the kitchen area, surrounded by all the mod cons you could want in a kitchen. There is also a utility room, downstairs toilet, TV room / playroom with extra sofa bed if required and a large 42 inch LCD TV. The long dining table in the dining area seats twenty-two guests and stairs lead upwards to the first floor where there is a second reception area.

On the first floor is all the bedrooms and the sauna plus the previously mentioned second reception / TV room which also has access to an outdoor terrace area and garden with views of the river.

The Kitchen

The well-equipped stylish kitchen has everything you need to cook in whatever capacity you are your party want. Of course, one of the most popular ideas is to hire a chef to cook everything up for you so you can concentrate on entertaining your bride or groom and fellow hens or stags. Slate tiles cover the floor of the kitchen complimenting the granite work top perfectly. There is an American style fridge freezer you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans and glassware you will need for your stay. There are two dishwashers and twin stainless-steel sinks, plus wine racks for any bottles and plenty of gadgets to keep you busy!

Games Room

There is a shared games room on site, which you can use which includes some superb games including Pool, Table Football and Air Hocky for when you fancy getting your game on and claim some bragging rights!

All superb quality bed linen is provided, and each bedroom has luxurious goose down and feather pillows and duvets. The mattresses are of the topmost quality to ensure you get a great night’s sleep in preparation for the activities that lay ahead.

Outside & The Hot tub

As you would expect for a Scottish property in the Hebrides – the areas surrounding this party house are beautiful, offering stunning panoramic views of this stunning and lustrous area of Scotland. On the first floor of the house there is a second south facing reception area with original exposed stone wall and if you head via this room you have access through French doors to another terrace which houses the gorgeous hot tub. There is also some garden furniture here for relaxing and socialising and access to the garden of the property, the river and the woods.

So much to explore here, and at night-time an uninterrupted view of the night sky with zero light pollution. What more could you ask for?
