INTRO
This luxuriously furnished Scottish manor is located in the heart of Scotland at Argyll’s ‘Secret Coast’, just north of Loch Riddon, The Queen Party House can be reached by car and/or ferry and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and rolling Scottish highlands. There is ample parking and the property is luxuriously furnished with antiques and trimmings fit for a….Queen! There are acres of land to be discovered by walking, running or cycling and if you're inclined for a night walk up here in you'll find no light pollution giving you the perfect view of the night sky (and yes, there is an outdoor hot tub to lean back and watch for shooting stars in the late evening) Make a wish everyone! The Queen Scottish Party House is a fantastic base for your hen weekend.
LOCATION
The views and countryside are spectacular, and if you have time, do head out and visit local settlements. One such is Colintraive where you can Step back in time at The Colintraive Heritage Centre and discover the story of the village and its farming heritage over the last 150 years. There are pleasant walks along the shore of the Kyles of Bute, great for walkers and cyclists, leading to a small 19th century church This impressive party house accommodation is just under two hours by car from Glasgow, making it the idyllic place if you want to surround yourself with nature and not too many people who can disturb you.
INSIDE
On entry, there are two cloak rooms and a utility room that includes a fridge freezer and a washing machine and dryer for your use. The Grand drawing room with accompanying log fire is absolutely stunning. One step inside this impressive space and you will feel taken back into history. High ceilings and hand-crafted mirrors are complimented by deep reds, creams and whites in the soft furnishings, with wood crafted tables and picture frames scattered around the rooms and hanging on the walls. Shelving is framed next to the fireplace keeping many books for your enjoyment as a library. There are also board games and jigsaws all for your enjoyment. Or perhaps, a real-life version of Cluedo is on the cards; there are certainly enough rooms to cater for it. Or go and grab a blanket and curl up on one of the many window seats available with a good book. The dining room (correction – dining hall) features a long wooden table to seat 24 and leads into a TV room with Sky TV. The property features a Billiard Room with football table, air hockey, darts and comfortable seating to the side. A playroom contains another TV with Sky and a couple of single toilet rooms are available on this floor too. On the first floor are ten of the thirteen bedrooms plus a sauna to seat ten. Many of the bedrooms can be doubles (King size beds) or broken down into single beds, to really cater towards making sure everyone can have their own bed when it comes to sleeping arrangements. Three further restrooms serve this floor as well as some bedrooms having ensuite facilities. There are some rooms which interconnect, however every bedroom does have its own entrance from the main corridor. The second floor contains the last three bedrooms and a bathroom to serve these rooms.
The Kitchen
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up delicious three course meals for your party. If no one wants to cook, why not hire in a personal chef for the weekend to make sure no one has to lift a finger in the kitchen. There is a huge American style fridge freezer with ice maker you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans and glassware you will need for your stay. There is a dishwasher, and a microwave positioned for easy use on the countertop. There is also a coffee machine to make sure everyone gets their morning hit of caffeine and a four oven Aga taking pride of place along one side. There is also a breakfast room which seats fourteen and has a door that leads out to the terrace and garden.

Bedroom 6 - 1 x Super king OR 2 x singles plus single bed plus ensuite shower room (Has a lockable interconnecting door to short corridor leading to)
Bedroom 7 - 1 x Super king OR 2 x singles with basin
Bedroom 8 - 1 x King size bed with ensuite bathroom (also has a door leading across the corridor and stair to)
Bedroom 9 - 1 x Super king OR 2 x singles plus bunk beds and two further single kids beds
All bed linen is provided, and each bedroom has its own unique name, named after an island in the Hebrides of Scotland. Each one has its own design and colour scheme with snug blankets on the beds making for an amazing nights rest.
Outside & The Hot tub
As you would expect for a Scottish property in the Hebrides – the grounds surrounding this party house are beautiful, offering stunning panoramic views of folding landscape and rolling hills. At night-time the hot tub on the terrace gives an uninterrupted vista of starlit skies.
There is an outdoor heated pool available for an hour a day for your party, and a football pitch within the twenty acres that are available for roaming and discovering. You will find there is zero light pollution once the sun sets for the day so make sure you check out that sky and listen to all the wildlife that flourishes in nature.
