Intro
Two options for great hen dos are either a Bristol or Bath Hen Do. The cities are so close together, extremely popular and they offer a great array of hen do party houses. For us, this has always been a great selling point – especially when you are looking to stay somewhere between the two. After all, what other hen do destination could you visit where you can go for two wildly different nights out in two wildly different cities without having to travel a significant distance to do so?
It's also great for activities. After all, instead of being limited to the activities that are only available in one city, you are able to pick and choose the best from two different cities – and no-one ever thinks that more choice is a bad thing, especially when it comes to hen do party houses!
The nights out are different – neither is better than the other, but these two cities offer surprisingly different vibes despite being based so close to each other. A Bath Hen Do offers a classy, boutique, relaxed night out, keeping it classic and high-class, whereas Bristol offers more bohemian, vibrant and high-energy nightlife to excite you throughout your night out. Location
The Stables is one of the best hen do party houses in the country, situated in a beautiful area of countryside approximately fifteen minutes drive from the centre of Bath and half an hour from the centre of Bristol. This means that you get the perfect marriage of city convenience and countryside relaxation all throughout one perfect Bristol or Bath hen do – it sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?
It’s easy to get to by road, and has parking for up to eight vehicles, so you don’t all have to meet up and crowbar yourselves into as few vehicles as possible before travelling to the best of the hen do party houses, you can just travel in whatever combination works best for you, because you won’t have any problem parking at the Stables.
The House
Lounge
The lounge is the focal point of the communal part of the Stables, and is one of the most beautiful you’ll ever see in any of the hen do party houses available. Situated between the Dining Room and the Kitchen, this large and beautiful room is exceedingly well furnished with sofas and armchairs that are so comfortable that you will feel like you are being given a huge furry warm hug when you sit down into them. There’s also a TV so that you can watch anything you fancy, whether that is on live TV or streamed via the free Wi-Fi that is throughout the building.
Kitchen
At one end of the huge lounge is a brilliantly well-designed kitchen. Beautiful and functional, with a kitchen island separating it from the rest of the room, it’s perfect for whatever you may need a kitchen for on your perfect Bristol or Bath hen do. Whether you plan on cooking some Michelin star inspired cuisine, or just need to make toast for everyone in the morning, the kitchen has the functionality and space needed to make this happen. It’s got everything you need – an oven, toaster, microwave, hob, dishwasher, kettle and everything else you can imagine.
Dining Room
The Dining room is really a thing of beauty at The Stables .A huge long room with windows on three sides, it is a light, friendly and exciting space for you and the girls to sit, eat and drink. The focal point is the huge long table down the middle, giving plenty of space for all of you to sit down and eat together, and with a couple of sofas in the room as well to give it a brilliantly relaxed feel – allowing you to truly enjoy your Bristol and Bath Hen Do to the maximum.
Outside
The large garden at The Stables is absolutely stunning. There’s plenty of Garden Furniture for you and the girls to get comfy on while sipping G and T’s (or whatever your drink of choice may be) and watching the sun set. There’s also a BBQ and a Firepit, so if you fancy a bit of outdoor cooking or just want a bit of warmth as you sit outside for the evening, those options are there for you. And then, there’s the hot tub. Of course there is a hot tub! After all, all of the best hen do party houses have one – what Bath hen do would be complete without being able to sip bubbly while surrounded by bubbles?
