Charming House Bournemouth

INTRO

This enchanting home is situated an easy twenty-minute walk from action packed Bournemouth town. Sleeping up to fourteen when at capacity, this entire house will be your Bournemouth hen accommodation. The stylish deco is simple and modern, and the interior is bright and inviting from when you first step into the entranceway. Vibrant Charminster is right on your doorstep with just a five-minute walk away and the house is easy to find with ample private parking / street parking. Clean and spacious with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, this house will be your home from home without ever feeling cramped. There is a quant courtyard outside to complete the homely feel and the chalk board in the dining room is a favourite among guests to scribble messages or use if playing one of the many board games that are available to use in the house.

LOCATION

This lovely house is in a quiet residential area, but no fear; bustling Bournemouth or lively Charminster are not far away. Charminster has an eclectic mix of bars, escape rooms and restaurants to suit all kinds of tastes and budgets with BYO alcohol options too. Bournemouth town itself is a twenty-minute walk away or even closer by taxi or uber (a good choice when returning in the early hours!). Bournemouth is home to an almost endless list of options for hen do activities! Jet skis, wine tasting, crazy golf, spa days, cocktail making, bath bomb design, beach parties and boat rides are just some of the possibilities you can plan for your trip. An even wider choice of bars and restaurants to cater each person’s preference is available at your picking; and don’t let’s forget the wide selection of cafes and coffee houses that Bournemouth is home to in the town centre.

BH2 is a newly built social and entertainment complex based a stone’s throw from the beach and contains many eateries from Miller & Carter to Pizza Express. There is also an Odeon cinema, a Virtual Reality game studio, mini golf and axe throwing available if you have a few hours spare.

INSIDE

With two large lounges, this house really lends itself to a whole list of hen activities; murder mysteries are a great ice breaker, accompanied with cheeky butlers to pour your drinks. Crafts like perfume, soap, or bath bomb making are great day time activities, as is wine tasting. Or to really treat your hens, you can bring the spa to you, and even hire a hot tub for the garden to partner with spa treatment options! There are two bathrooms upstairs (with good water pressure in the showers!) with the bedrooms and one more bathroom on the ground floor for your convenience. All bed linen, towels and soap are supplied and there is wireless throughout the house. The dining area boasts a large table to seat all house inhabitants and the kitchen is large and airy with a cream and rustic wooden colour scheme that works wonderfully.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is towards the back of the house and its size provides the perfect opportunity to have a personal chef take care of the cooking for you. The huge dining table just to the side of the kitchen is beautifully carved out of reclaimed wood, adding character to the space. It provides ample seating for fourteen and sets the stage for delightful dinner time discussions. This expansive kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to prepare a delicious meal. A very large fridge/freezer sits in the corner, with kettle, hob, oven and toaster, along with cutlery crockery, glassware and pots and pans. There is a washing machine, dryer and drying rack should you need them and also a dishwasher. There are supermarkets close by such as Tesco Express and even an ASDA superstore just a little further out should you need to stock up on vital refreshments for your group during your stay.

BEDROOMS

There are five lovely sized rooms which sleep a total of 15 people in separate beds with one person in the lounge which is fantastic if you have a group who prefer not to share. The configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 1 - A spacious room with 2 single beds

Bedroom 2 - another spacious room with 4 single beds, wardrobe and drawer space.

Bedroom 3 - Consists of 3 single beds and drawer space

Bedroom 4 – 2 single beds with drawer space

Bedroom 5 – Consists of just 3 single beds with wardrobe and drawer space

Lounge - 1 person on a sofa bed

This bedroom layout makes it particularly well suited to hen dos and stag parties thanks to the number of single beds available.

OUTSIDE AREA

Out the back of the house through the kitchen you will find a charming little private garden complete with picnic bench and shade from trees. It is big enough to gather outside should the weather lend itself to warm evenings, and certainly roomy enough to rent a hot tub for the space should you choose to for your Bournemouth hen weekend.
