Once upon a time there was a…... No let’s stop there for a second. This is not about a fairy tale, it’s about a fabulous large luxury Cotswolds Party house in the heart of the fabulous Cotswolds National Park. If you’re unfamiliar with The Cotswolds, it’s an official Area of Natural Beauty or AONB. It’s a stunning National Park that touches five counties at its boarders. This stunning part of the country, with its rolling hills, rich farmland and little Hamlets and Market Towns dotted around is a very popular place to go, whether that’s a stag or hen party or a couple’s style staycation. With that in mind, with its stunning scenery the scene is well and truly set, so, whilst not exactly a fairy tale, The Stylish Retreat Cotswolds Party House does provide a idyllic setting where everlasting memories can be made on your Stag or Hen Party.
Location
You don’t get much more rural that this. The Stylish Retreat Cotswolds Party house is located in the heart of the countryside away from the hustle of town and city life. This phenomenal Cotswolds Party House is right at the heart of The Cotswolds, Close to the picturesque villages of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Moreton in Marsh all of which is well worth visiting with their local shops and traditional pubs and eateries. The Stylish Retreat is also close to the fabulous Badminton Estate, famous for the Horse Trials and also its beautiful gardens which are open at select times of the year also being worth a visit. Another place worthy of a visit is the National Arboretum, Westonbirt, which features a fantastic collection of trees from around the world and is a great place to go for a walk and explore some of natures offerings from around the world.
The Cities of Bath & Bristol are only a short 25 minutes away and are full to the brim of fantastic stag and hen party activities to enjoy on your weekend from Cocktail Making and Bottomless Brunches to Escape Rooms and Clay Pigeon Shooting, there really is something for everyone on top of that, both cities area great for Restaurants and Bars, whilst Bristol wins between the two if your Cotswolds stag and hen party want to dance the night away in one of the many Nightclubs in the City. If you choose to explore Bristol, you may wish to look up a map of all the Banksy Artwork in the city, definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Finding the property is easy with the help of a sat nav, although care should be taken when finding the driveway. Once you roll onto the driveway over the classic pebbles you’ll be greeted with the beautiful front of the house that oozes character. Parking won’t be an issue for you either as there is space for up to 10 vehicles.
The House
Grounds
The private grounds are well kept and the grass and boarders are well manicured, there is plenty of patio space to lounge around on and relax. There is a Pergola if you fancy a bit of shade and there is plenty of garden furniture to chillax on those summer days and evenings. There is outside lighting that provides a lovely atmosphere for those that are enjoying the outside after dark. There is a large part of the garden which has a football goal and a few other lawn games for when things get competitive.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Seven spacious Bedrooms, some with ensuite facilities sleeping up to 27 guests comfortably. The Stylish retreat also has 5 bathrooms, one of which has a two player make up area complete with mirrors and surrounding lights, hairdryers and handy little shelf for all your products, perfect for getting ready to explore the area.
Bar Area
The Bar area is a great place to gather. It contains a double wine fridge, a open fire place and wall mounted TV. There is a cabinet with a selection of glassware for you to use during your stay. The space would be perfect to host any of our amazing mobile stag and hen do activities in like the hilarious comedy roast, Drag academy or an adult pottery painting session.
Conservatory & Pool Room
The conservatory area has been converted to a dining type area and has a number of benches and long tables perfectly set out for large parties so you can eat or play games together. There is also a separate room with a heated indoor swimming pool and a top of the range hot tub, which is sure to go down a treat with your group and is a fantastic feature of any Cotswolds Party House.
Lounge & Kitchen
The Lounge area is light and airy and has sofas, an open fire and a large wall mounted tv so you’ll never miss an episode of your favourite tv show or movie. As you’d expect with a luxury Cotswolds Party House, especially one designed to cater for 27 hungry and thirsty stags and hens you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything your party would need for a weekend of celebrations including Oven, microwave, kettles toasters, cafetieres and the all important fridge freezer to keep your supplies fresh.
