This gorgeous farm and barn complex overlooks a castle and sleeps up to twenty-four of you, ensuring that you’ll all have space, freedom, and luxury the likes of which you rarely get to experience in real life.
Location: Hilltop Views Near Cardiff
Horizon View is located in a quiet area of South Wales, on a hilltop with gorgeous views across valleys and a castle. But you’re not completely on your own – just a few minutes' drive is a nearby village, so if you need to stock up on essentials, it’s nice and easy to get to.
What’s even better is that it’s only a forty-minute drive to **Cardiff**. If you want to balance your Welsh luxury hen weekend with the complete opposite – a mad night out of clubbing and drinks – then you can combine both, making this one of the most versatile hen weekend options available.
Farmhouse & Barn Accommodation
Horizon View is split across two buildings: the **Farmhouse** and the **Converted Barn**. Both are stunning and will take your breath away when you arrive. Both the farmhouse and the barn have a lounge area, so you aren’t lacking in anywhere to relax.
There are a total of ten bedrooms that can sleep up to twenty-four guests. Here’s a breakdown so that you can plan who is sharing with who:
Farmhouse (Sleeps 10):
Bedroom 1 – One King Size bed, two single beds
Bedroom 2 – Double bed
Bedroom 3 – One King Size bed, two single beds

Kitchens & Large Group Dining
As you might imagine, given that this is two buildings, there are multiple kitchens. The farmhouse has a classic farmhouse-styled kitchen and diner, and the barn has not one, but TWO kitchens as well. All three are well set out and filled with all the mod cons.
For the dining rooms, the farmhouse has a kitchen diner, and in the Barn there is a larger dining area with a big L-shaped table, ensuring that all of you are able to sit down and enjoy your dinner in one big group.
9 Bathrooms
The number of bathrooms is always a concern when booking a large property. Luckily, Horizon View has you covered. The Farmhouse has two bathrooms on the first floor, a shower room on the second, and a WC on the ground floor. In the Barn, there is one bathroom, two shower rooms, and two more WCs. That brings our total across the two houses up to nine – almost as many bathrooms as bedrooms!
Games Room with Piano
As well as all the luxuries we’ve already described, there is also a **Games Room**. This is well populated with a pool table, table football, ping pong table, and even a piano – so whether you want a competitive game or just a good singalong, the games room may well turn out to be one of the most popular areas of the property.
30 Acres, Pool & Hot Tub
I don’t think I’ve done a brilliant job of explaining quite how big and secluded the property is – so let me give you some details. It is set on a **30-Acre Site**, so there’s no one else apart from you and the girls. There are large fields, woodlands, and an orchard that you can explore.
There are also sun terraces, a veranda, and a **Hot Tub**. Not to mention a **Swimming Pool** – it really is the country house of your dreams.
