New Forest Manor

INTRO

The lovely New Forest hen party house, the New Forest Manor sleeps up to twenty-two guests spread over two self-contained properties. Both are large modern houses accessible down a private lane with ample parking for all the guests. The garden areas for both properties is extensive and perfect for hen or stag party games and fun. Patio decks, trampolines, hot tubs and barbecue areas give you so much space to plan your party activities. The bed split is twelve and eight between each chalet and there is a charming little shepherd’s hut located in the grounds to sleep an additional two to make up the total guest number. LOCATION

Set in the quant little village near the traditional market town of Fordingbridge in the New Forest, it is easily accessible by road. The forest offers many endless walking and cycling opportunities via footpaths and roads, to explore what the forest has to offer. In fact, there are two lovely pubs and a cycle hire place within walking distance from this fabulous property. For any nature lovers, you will not be disappointed; all kinds of birdlife can be seen in the New Forest; grazing deer; roaming horses and donkeys; even wild pigs! You may even spot yourself a New Forest pony or two, just always keep your eyes open and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Fordingbridge is the nearest town and is a short drive away. There are shops here such as Tesco express and a couple of coffeehouses, craft shops and a gelato bar. The bustling town of Ringwood is also only ten minutes away. Salisbury is a historical cathedral city with a rich culture and shopping scene and is about a twenty-minute drive from Fordingbridge. There is so much to do here, and the high street is an abundance of shops, quirky restaurants and trendy bars!

INSIDE

Both properties have open plan living areas with log burners taking centre stage in the lounges and complimented by TVs and sofas to seat all the guests in comfort and style, the rustic décor is finished to a very high standard with stripped wooden floors, country pine furnishings and high wooden beams.

The Forest Treehouse has a great mix of single, double and king beds spread over three floors; the ground floor has the gorgeous lounge area with soft cushioned sofas surrounding the wood burning stove (there is a log store just next to the BBQ and patio area outside). Dividing this space from the dining area is a beautifully crafted wooden staircase, which heads up to the first floor with the bedrooms and washrooms. The hardwood floor continues to the dining room and a gorgeous wooden table fills this area with seating for twelve. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a utility and a cloakroom zone, and a double room with ensuite. A Games room is equipped with pool table (a perfect opportunity for a property play off pool competition?) and Smart TV with Sky access. A charming conservatory sits at the back of the house with lush views of the garden. The second floor is made up of a loft space utilised well as a bedroom with wood panelling all the way round. Single beds furnish this room and a Velux window lets in ample light and ventilation.

The Star Gazer is a single storey property, every room is accessible on the ground floor. Two bedrooms lead off from the lounge and on the other side sits the dining space. The lounge itself has skylights and beams boldly decorating the ceiling and the space is airy and light. Books and games adorn the shelving in this room surplus to the two TVs available for your use. The dining table seats eight comfortably just to the side of the lounge area and a small hall/utility area leads on to the kitchen and family bathroom. From the well-equipped kitchen there is another bedroom with ensuite.

The Kitchens

Both kitchens are fully functional kitchen has absolutely everything you need for frying up a breakfast fit for royalty. There are fridges you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans and glassware you will need for your stay. Coffee making facilities are available in both sts of accommodation to ensure you get your caffeine fix in the morning, and in each there is also a kettle, toaster, oven, hob and microwave

There are five bedrooms in Star Gazer with the following configuration.

1 x double bedroom with clothing storage

1 x king size beds, each able to be divided into 2 x single beds.

1 x king size beds, each able to be divided into 2 x single beds plus an ensuite and a table with two chairs to sit around / use to do make up.

Including the additional accommodation outside of the lodge itself:

Double bedroom annex with 1 x king size beds, each able to be divided into 2 x single beds plus an ensuite.

Shepherds Hut with 1 x king size beds, each able to be divided into 2 x single beds plus an ensuite.

All fresh, crisp bed linen is provided for each of the individually styled bedrooms.

Outside & The Hot tub

Take a step out of these superb accommodations and you will be greeted by stunning garden, patio and BBQ decking areas. There is access to a gorgeous hot tub on each of the properties. If the weather is pleasant during your stay, you will likely spend a lot of time in this fantastic outside area; whether that’s soaking up the rays, enjoying some bubbles in the sunshine, playing games, or all three together. This peaceful countryside farmhouse is an idyllic retreat where you can make many happy memories.
