From the beautiful scenery all around the accommodation to the historic streets of Oxford itself, there's a wide range of activities to choose from. You and your fellow hens can enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in a quaint village tea room, mix it up making some Cocktails in Oxford City Centre, or even take a punting adventure along the serene River Cherwell. In the evening, Oxfordshire's nightlife comes alive, with trendy bars and cozy pubs where you can raise a toast to the bride-to-be. An Oxford hen do promises an unforgettable experience, combining the best of English countryside and urban excitement.
Location
The Rustic Lets are one of the most amazing hen do cottages you could ever encounter. They are in a perfect location for any hen do that is looking for beautiful views, privacy, but still being close enough to a town or city so that you can enjoy some nightlife if needs be. There is a local village just 8 minutes drive away, which is perfect if you need to pop to a shop or something similar. There is also a great local pub just ten minutes walk away, which is highly recommended – beautiful drinks at very reasonable prices!
If you are looking for a night out in a local town or city, there are a couple of nearby options. Banbury is the closest town (approx. 15 minutes drive away) which has a small but great selection of bar and pub options. Alternatively you can go for the big night out and head out for an Oxford hen do (approx. 50 mins drive away) which is absolutely worth the journey as far as the selection of activities to do in an evening is concerned.
In fact, you could go for the best of both worlds, as there are regular trains from Banbury to Oxford – so you could get a car into Banbury and enjoy a couple of drinks, before jumping on a train to experience an Oxford hen do in the same night.
On the other hand, of course, you don’t HAVE to go anywhere. The barns could become party central for you and the girls – after all there is a a Bluetooth speaker and disco lights available so that you can dance the night away, before watching the sunrise with a drink in your hand – no worries about travel, whether you’ll get into places or anything like that, just a night of drinking, dancing, friendship and fun all within the boundaries of your perfect hen do cottages.
The Barns
Rustic Lets have a combination of three fantastic barns for you to stay in during your hen do. These barns are all beautiful and furnished to a fantastically high standard – meaning that these hen do cottages allow you a luxury stay in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It may sound too good to be true, but I can assure you that is definitely not the case.
The Barn 1
The largest of the three barns, sleeps six people and is definitely the party hub of the barns. Featuring a huge space with underfloor heating, a massive fifty inch TV, a hob, some amazing colour control lighting and many more amenities, this barn is definitely one of the best places to be for your Oxford Hen Do.
The Barn 2
Smaller but no less amazing, this barn sleeps two, so is perfect for anyone who would like to have a little personal space while also enjoying this amazing Oxford Hen Do. Again, just like the barn 1 it has underfloor heating, a hob, a TV and many more facilities, and it adjoins barn1 and barn 3, so no-one has to walk very far to get from one to the next!
The Barn 3
The smallest of the three barns, also sleeps two in a quirky comfy studio space. Just like the other barns it has underfloor heating so you won’t get cold no matter what season you choose to visit, and it has all of the other amenities as well.
Bedrooms
In total across these hen do cottages there are four bedrooms with five double beds, so these barns can comfortably sleep ten – a perfect number for a countryside hen do.
Outside
As you might expect from beautiful hen do cottages, one thing that you do have a huge array of is outside space. There’s a large BBQ, a selection of pub benches and views to die for – it’s a perfect place to sit around with a glass of wine, watching the sun go down as the burgers cook on the BBQ. Sounds like an amazing hen do, doesn’t it?
