Intro
About 20 miles to the west of Norwich lays the superb Large Party House, The Victorian Villa. This stunning Period farmhouse could easily be described as a manor house or even a mansion and you wouldn’t be far off the truth. This amazing charismatic Norwich Party House can sleep up to 26 guests in absolute comfort and is set in four acres of beautifully manicured grounds.
The welcoming as you approach the Private tree lined driveway is akin to your stereotypical manor house you see in period dramas on TV and comes complete with the ‘forecourt’ at the end of the drive which tells you you’ve pulled up to a quality and luxurious Party House for the weekend. The large entrance arches just ooze style, class and sophistication as you step inside the Victorian Villa, and if by then you’re not convinced you’re in the lap of luxury, there’s still plenty more to come.
Location
The Victorian Villa Norwich Party House is easy to find and there is plenty of parking available for your group. For those groups who like to get out and about at least once during their weekend, there are plenty of little countryside hamlets and villages for you to explore, whilst those that may miss the bright lights of a larger town or City can travel to the nearby City of Norwich to enjoy any of our Norwich based stag and hen do activities or you can simply go out and explore the shops and visit one of the many bars and restaurants Norwich has to offer. Popular ones include the challenging Escape Rooms or for the more adrenaline minded groups can enjoy a bit of GO Karting, Clay Pigeon Shooting or an areal assault course. The House
Outside
As the Victorian Villa Norwich Party House sits in four acres of grounds, it’s easy to imagine all the possibilities of having such a large social space available will afford you, from lounging around in the sunshine, playing some lawn games or even simply getting your grill on and making use of the fabulous Barbecue facilities. You quite simply will not be short of outside space to enjoy during your stay. Many of our groups use the outside space to enjoy some of our amazing in-house activities in the sunshine with things like the Cocktail Masterclass and dance classes being very popular alfresco activities, although you can enjoy the majority of them in the open air should you choose. If the worst happens and the weather be less than ideal, there is plenty of space indoors to enjoy these stag and hen do activities. The garden area also features is a large patio area with plenty of garden furniture which acts as a great sun trap for those alfresco breakfasts or simply a place to chill, chat with a delicious, chilled glass of bubbly or beer.
The grounds are conveniently split into sections, each one is beautifully manicured to create a wonderful *tranquil and more importantly, large social space with plenty of garden tables and seating throughout, so you can choose to stay in the sunshine or find yourself a shaded area to enjoy your surroundings. The top of the range hot tub is always a welcome addition to any Norwich Party House for stag and hen dos. There are even tennis courts available to the sporty amongst your group.
*The Victorian Villa backs onto a working arable farm, so at some points of the year for ex ample Harvest time, you’ll hear typical farmyard sounds that give you the full countryside experience.
Games Room
If Tennis, lawn games and a wealth of our inhouse stag and hen do activities aren’t enough to keep you making memories, then the spacious games room has a full size pool table where you can enjoy a frame or two, so whether you want to play a knock out tournament or enjoy getting everyone involved with a game of killer, then the pool table will be a welcome feature in the Victorian Villa.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The Victorian Villa has an impressive eleven, yes, you read that right, 11 spacious bedrooms many of which come with some bedroom furniture so you can store your belongings, whilst the 4 bathrooms ensure you’re never having to queue to ‘spend a penny’ All bed linen and towels are top quality and area provided for you to use throughout your stay, meaning a couple of things less for you to pack!
Lounge & Kitchen
There are two reception areas in the Victorian Villa Norwich Party House, each come with a feature open fire place and are a great place to relax, unwind or use as a social space to enjoy some games and activities.
The Kitchen area is large, which you would expect from a farmhouse kitchen and comes with all the modern conveniences you would need for your weekend away. The Stylish Aga makes for a fantastic feature and keeps in with the Party Houses style and ambience, whilst still having the more traditional oven and hob area for your convenience. There is also a large selection of cookware, cutlery and china to ensure you can get creative in the kitchen, or your private chef can!
Diner
The dining area is massive, and the long dining table can fit up to 20 guests giving your Norwich stag or hen do a great place to sit down and enjoy meals together or play any party games you’ve brought with you. The space id simply perfect for the Cheeky Butler and private chef combo, where your very own Private Chef cooks up a delicious two or three course meal in a style of your choosing whilst one of our mighty fine cheeky butlers serve it to you and keep your glasses topped up with any beverages you’ve brought with you. The style and ambience of the dining area also makes for an amazing backdrop for the popular Psychic Hen Nights or a Murder Mystery evening which features professional actors to host and progress your enquiries along in a classic whodunit!
