INTRO
This stunning renovated countryside Barnhouse lies just north of the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich in the county of Norfolk. Give any hen do planning a weekend in this area a fantastic opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy serene surroundings, privacy for your group and it also comes with an option to visit the nearby areas too. The Nutley Barn has so much space and on arrival you’ll notice that this gorgeous house is conveniently spread over two floors and comes with a patio area and hot tub. It is a five-minute walk to the village green where you will find a village shop, pub and post office and there are several parking spaces. Superfast wireless internet is available throughout the property.
LOCATION
This lovely home is great as a headquarters to base yourself to discover the cathedral city of Norwich. It holds a rich heritage and history; dating back a thousand years, it is one of the oldest cities in the country and known for being the most complete medieval city in England. Norwich boasts its own castle, cobbled streets and ancient buildings. The winding river Wensum also contributes to its charm and there are plenty of activities to get involved in while you are here; wine tasting, glassblowing, spa days; the list goes on. You certainly won’t be disappointed spending your time away in this beautiful destination. If you head East you’ll come to the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, with it’s expansive beaches and classic seaside activities and attractions and a 15 minute drive away will bring you to Comer, another fantastic traditional seaside town. You won’t be board or short of things to see and do at the Nuttley Barn.
INSIDE
High ceilings and original beams greet you as you enter the property; wicker footstools and woven rug compliment the emerald green sofas that will seat all the guests. You will be blown away by this elegantly designed modern living area. In one corner of the room is a winding staircase with glass balustrades guiding you up to the first floor. In another corner is the kitchen area containing everything you need to cook and dine during your stay. The placement of the kitchen with the dining table makes it perfect for socialising, with no one boxed away in the kitchen preparing food or pouring the drinks. A long extendable dining table lines the back of the room with enough seating for all the guests. With a set up like this it is easy to envisage a chef serving up platters to your guests, or the whole group getting involved in day time craft of some kind as an activity based at the lodge. Books and games are all available for your use while staying at Nuttley Barn, or if TV is more your thing, there is a smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar and a DVD player. Why not arrange some nude life drawing (model and teacher can of course be supplied!), Body Painting, or simply dance and sing the night away into the early hours!
KITCHEN
The lovely kitchen continues the beautiful large grey tiling underfoot (there is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor) and is fully equipped with everything you will need for your weekend. It will be easily enough to stock up on supplies being near the village shop by foot. There is a second American style fridge freezer accessible in the cart shed that you can keep fully stocked with soft drinks or bubbles and even a wine fridge to keep stocked up on your wine. There is a kettle, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave all positioned to make this space user friendly in its faultless calming design.

There are four bedrooms in Nuttley Barn that typically has with the following configuration.

There are also two single fold-out beds that can be added to any of the above rooms to sleep an extra two bodies. As the two ground floor bedrooms are the biggest these are the obvious choices to place these if required. Towels, hairdryers, fresh bed linen and other essentials are available for every guest for your complete comfort. Lots of thought has gone into the simple and elegant décor of the living areas and stylish bathrooms, why head out to a spa when you can arrange for the spa and treatments to come to you?
OUTSIDE
Last and certainly not least, another impressive feature of this wonderful property is the stunning outdoor space. From the living room, two sets of patio doors lead out on to the gorgeous patio area with rattan furniture and table to seat all guests; a barbecue is of course provided with all utensils needed. The garden surrounds the property and incorporates an idyllic hot tub in a secluded part of the garden with removable steps. Make sure you spend some relaxing time here contemplating your activities for the weekend or staring up at the night sky looking out for shooting stars.
There is also a sheltered playroom barn (the cart shed) with table tennis and other games available for your use. Outdoor games such as Jenga and football goals are also available on the property to make sure you can maximise your outdoor time over your stay.
