INTRO
Relaxation and luxury are things that we are often missing in every day life. After all, we all have our noses to the grindstone almost every day, whether that be with work, family or any other commitments that we sometimes enjoy but sometimes need a break from. Well a hen weekend should be a break from such things, which is why you need a luxurious hen party house to really make sure everyone relaxes and has a good time. The good news is that Wye House is the place for you. Sleeping anywhere up to twenty two guests, this property is full of character and offers a retreat from the noise and hassle of everyday life.
LOCATION
Wye House is located (unsurprisingly) in the heart of the Wye Valley, with stunning views over the river Wye. Located in the village of Symonds Yat, it’s a gorgeous three storey Victorian house that can really offer the sort of weekend that every girl dreams of. It’s perfect and it really should be on your list of luxurious hen party houses to look at. After all, this area has some of the most stunning views in the country, and it’s a perfect escape.
INSIDE
This Victorian town house really knows how to make the best use of its space. Downstairs when you walk in, you immediately find yourself with a choice of not one, but two lounges. The first one has sofas, a window seat, an open fireplace and a TV (with Sky included), and the second has sofa, armchairs, a window seat and a second open fireplace. These are going to be central locations for you and the girls to spend time in when you are away, as the vibe in them is just so perfect, and you can really relax in there. There’s also a snug (which, if I’m honest, is bigger than my own lounge at home, so I don’t know why they didn’t just call it lounge three, but I digress), which gives you more space for sitting, relaxing and laughing. The property is also gorgeously decorated throughout, with plenty of artwork and other items on the walls throughout the house.
KITCHEN AND DINING
What would a luxurious hen weekend house be without a luxurious dining room? After all, one of the appeals of having such a large property for your hen weekend is that you all get to be together as much as possible, and that especially goes for eating – always one of the most communal activities on any group outing. The great thing about Wye House is that the dining room is designed to seat everyone comfortably around one table, so there’s no squeezing people in, no awkwardly segmenting people off to side tables, just a great atmosphere for dinner.
Speaking of dinner, what about the kitchen? After all, the kitchen can be the hub of any luxurious hen weekend house as it’s where the food comes from. Well don’t worry, that’ not a problem here either. The kitchen has everything you need and so much more besides – two ovens, two dishwashers, a huge fridge freezer, a six slice toaster and (most importantly to many of the hens) two kettles AND a filter coffee machine – essential for the mornings after the night before.
BEDROOMS
As mentioned earlier, Wye House can sleep up to twenty two people, and these are spread across nine bedrooms that cover the top two floors of the house.
Bedroom 1 – Two single beds and an en-suite bathroom
Bedroom 2 – Double bed and en-suite shower room
Bedroom 3 – Double bed
Bedroom 4 – Four single beds
Bedroom 5 – Double bed with an en-suite shower room
Bedroom 6 – Double bed with an en-suite shower room
Bedroom 7 – Double bed with an en-suite shower room
Bedroom 8 – Two Single Beds and Two bunk beds with en-suite bathroom
Bedroom 9 – Double bed
BATHROOMS
Six of the bedrooms have private en-suite facilities, meaning that there’s already plenty of bathrooms at the property, But that’s not all there are – there’s a shower room located between Bedrooms 4 and 9, for them to share, and there is a large Main Bathroom (containing a bath and separate shower) next door to Bedroom 3. There’s also a couple of cloakrooms near the communal areas as well – so in short, no-ones going to have any issues finding a bathroom when they need one, which is always a good thing.
GAMES ROOM
On the top floor of the property is the games room. This has a TV, a pool table and a table football table, making it yet another of the great communal areas that this property has to offer for you and the girls to relax in. Well, I say relax, but we all know that on a large hen do, someone will get competitive and start some kind of Pool tournament, which may not be relaxing, but is always fun!
OUTSIDE
The property has various bits of outside seating for you and the girls to relax and enjoy the serenity and the stunning views surrounding you. After all, what’s better than watching the sun set over some beautiful countryside with a glass of prosecco in hand and friends surrounding you?
There might be one thing better, which would be doing all that but sitting in a hot tub at the same time – well, surprise! There’s a covered hot tub at Wye House as well, cementing it as the luxurious hen weekend house you absolutely need. Because who doesn’t love a hot tub?
It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? A serene property surrounded by beautiful views, with all the facilities you could ever want and easily bookable for you and the girls? Well it’s not too good to be true, it’s real, it’s here, and you can book it right now. Just give us a call or pop us an email and let us arrange your perfect party and this luxurious hen weekend house – we promise that you won’t regret it!
