The Dales is one of the most perfect party houses in the area. Located less than a fifteen-minute walk to the city centre, it is the perfect distance for a hen do. You are far enough away that you feel comfortable and relaxed, while still close enough that you can walk into the city for a drink or five!
Location: 15 Minute Walk to City Centre
A fifteen-minute walk (or 4-minute drive) from a pub back to your accommodation is one of those distances that is easily achievable, no matter what shoes you are wearing! If that walk sounds like it’s too far to go in one sitting, the good news is that you’ll pass anywhere between four and ten bars on the way in, so you’ll be spoilt for choice. In fact, there are a couple of pubs within a minute’s walk of The Dales.
Most activities can either be done in the city centre, or they can come to you! The lounge/diner and kitchen are perfect for activities like Mobile Cocktail Making or Mobile Pamper sessions. You can even combine these with a **Cheeky Butler** if you really want to push the boat out.
This amazing York Hen House is also just a seven-minute drive from the train station – so if you’ve decided to travel on public transport, you’ll easily make it there with no hassle whatsoever.
"Emmerdale" Style Kitchen
The kitchen in The Dales has to be seen to be believed. It has a stained glass sign over the worksurface, making it look like the **Woolpack Pub** from *Emmerdale*!
Within the kitchen itself, it has all of the mod-cons you would expect from the best in party houses – Ovens, hob, Microwave, huge fridge freezer, and enough wine glasses to satisfy even the thirstiest of hen dos!
Lounge & Dining Area
The Dales has a beautiful lounge/diner that will easily entertain anywhere up to twelve hens. Whether it’s all sitting down to dinner (or breakfast) together along a huge dining table, or whether you just need comfy sofas to relax on and watch TV while nursing your hangovers, the lounge area has everything you need.
