Sleeping a maximum of ten, but not skimping on the quality and luxury that you’re looking for, it’s a perfect hen weekend house in the Lake District that will give you everything you want and everything you need, without breaking the bank.
Location: Secluded Lake District Setting
Just over twenty minutes drive from the **Lake District National Park** itself, this stunning estate feels like its own little private Idaho, and The Rivers is one of the few properties around. In fact, you’ll feel so nice and secluded that you’ll be throwing caution to the wind and enjoying yourselves without a care in the world.
It’s also just a few minutes drive from Lancaster or Morecambe, so you are close enough to local towns to be able to visit, while still feeling like you are in a beautifully secluded location.
Spacious Lounge with Arcade Machines
On entering this gorgeous property, the first thing you’ll find is the extremely spacious lounge. This has a huge TV along with a selection of comfy sofas and also a selection of **Arcade Machines** dotted around! If any of you enjoy a game of Pac-Man, Top Gun or Street Fighter II, you’ll really be in your element here.
That’s not the only lounge room though, as there is also a little **Snug** off the dining room that also has sofas and a TV, so if there gets to be a point where some of you want to watch one program and some of you want to watch another, there’s no need for conflict!
Modern Kitchen & Patio Access
The open plan kitchen and dining room is modern, sleek and exceedingly well-equipped. No need to worry about how you are going to cook or what you are going to eat – whether you are going to battle through on bacon sandwiches or actually pull all the stops out and serve a seven-course banquet, the kitchen and diner are more than adequate for your requirements here.
Plus, there is a patio door that leads outside as well, so if you want to grab some food and enjoy it al fresco, there’s absolutely no reason not to!

With four different bedrooms to choose from, there’s space for all of you to put your heads down and get a great night's sleep here.
Bedroom 1: King Sized Bed with en-suite.

Something that is quite amazing to note about these bedrooms is that the two bedrooms on the first floor actually have a little extra space – there is a lounge area leading off from Bedroom 2 which has its own sofas, TV, and balcony area. You can also get onto that same balcony from Bedroom 1, so the party doesn’t have to end just because you’ve gone upstairs!
Garden, Hot Tub & Sauna
Outside of the property has some gorgeous views – in fact, you can see the river and Otter Island from just about everywhere in the property. Outside there is also plenty of parking, as well as a private patio and backyard, an outdoor dining area, a fire pit, and a BBQ.
But that’s not all. There is also a **Private Hot Tub** AND **Private Sauna** in the garden as well. Whether you fancy taking a dip in the middle of the day, or just want to relax with a glass of bubbly as the sun goes down, you’ll find all options that you’d want from a Hen House in the Lake District available to you here at The Rivers.
