Whether you’re a traditional stag or hen do or you’re planning a mixed group Sten Do looking for the perfect celebration, the Devon Barns provides a spacious, comfortable and feature filled country getaway that will ensure your group can party in style. The Devon Barns are two adjacent converted barns, hence the name, offering a fantastic example of open plan living, where you’ll find the perfect blend of the rustic and the modern working hand in hand to give you a light and airy accommodation with a traditional country feel. The Devon Barns have been purposely designed to cater for groups or large family gatherings and these feature rich properties do a magnificent job of keeping the group together despite being split across two properties. Groups of up to 29 guests can enjoy this ‘Rural but not isolated’ Devon stag and hen do party house.

Location

This Amazing pair of Devon stag and hen Do Party houses are set in a rural location, but that certainly doesn’t mean ‘in the middle of nowhere’ there is plenty to see, do and enjoy on your stag or hen do celebration beyond the facilities available at the properties. Starting with the nearest you have a pub literally 150 yards down the road offering a decent selection of beers, wines and food options. Should you need a top up of essential supplies there is also a shop nearby. For the adventurous among you, there are two amazing activity site within half an hour’s drive offering some hilarious and somewhat challenging stag and hen do activities ranging from an Inflatable Waterpark to a more relaxing Stand up paddleboard session, for more information about nearby activities please speak to one of our stag and hen do organisers. If beaches are you thing, being in North Devin puts you in a great position of it’s stunning and rugged coastline, and it’s among these intricate rocky outcrops you’ll find some of North Devon's best beaches and seaside towns, one of our favourites is Westward Ho, partly cause it’s an amazing name for a town but mainly because it’s superb beaches and selection of restaurants and bars in the area, well worthy of the 20 minute drive to visit if you wish to explore. Nearer to home, there are stables if your stag or hen do would like to experience a horse-riding lesson, whilst 5 minutes’ drive down the road there is a country club offering full leisure facilities including sauna and jacuzzi.

The House

Kitchen & Dining Area

Both properties have large open plan kitchen and dining areas which are perfect to get everyone together for meals and any entertainment you have planned. The kitchens are well equipped for larger stag and hen dos and come with all the equipment you need during your stay, large American style fridge freezers are perfect to store your stag and hen do supplies, and all cutlery and glassware is provided for you to use in addition to cooking utensils. The kitchen is perfect if your fancy enhancing your stag or hen do with one of our private chefs, who’ll come to the property and create you a two or three course meal in a style of your choosing. Kettles, toasters hobs and ovens are also available as are washing machines for if things get a little dirty!

Outside

Making use of the two Devon stag and hen do party houses give you so much more. So to say the two properties are greater than the sum of their parts is a pretty fair reflection! Larger groups can enjoy the two state of the art hot tubs and 2 free standing swimming pools. The stone patio areas and gardens of both properties are adjacent, so you’ve got plenty of social space and not separated from each other and the large playing field next to the two well-manicured gardens give you a great opportunity to play some football or enjoy some lawn games. There is plenty of garden furniture for the whole group so you can all laze around together and enjoy use of the barbeque facilities and enjoy the West Country weather.

Bedrooms

Combined the two properties has 10 spacious bedrooms, giving your Devon stag and hen do enough space to The larger of the two properties has 6 bedrooms whilst the smaller one of the two has 4 bedrooms

The bedroom configuration as follows: -

Bedroom 1: Twin room (Please note this room has restricted head room in places) with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, basin and toilet

Bedroom 2: Twin, plus bunk bed with en-suite with shower over bath, basin and toilet.

Bedroom 3: King-size bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, basin and toilet.

Bedroom 4: Double bed and single bed above (triple bunk) and en-suite with shower cubicle, basin and toilet

Bedroom 5: King size bed and single bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, basin and toilet.

Bedroom 6: Ground floor bedroom with a king and single bed and ensuite shower room with walk in shower (accessed via one step from entrance hall)

Bedroom 7 – is on the ground floor with twin beds and a single bed. There is also an ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 8 – Has a King Size bed and bunk bed. Bedroom 2 also has an ensuite bathroom with large 2-person jacuzzi bath with shower.

Bedroom 9 - King bed plus ensuite shower room

Bedroom 10 - 3 x single beds, or two can be connected to make a super king and a single with ensuite shower room

Lounges & Games Area

Both properties have large lounges with wall mounted tv’s and large sofas so everyone in the property can be comfortable and not miss the latest episode of your favourite show and sky TV is also available and yes, that includes the sport! Both properties also have some table games available if your Devon stag and hen do fancy a tournament with Table Football and a PlayStation 3 and games are there for you to have fun with.
