Intro
If you’re looking for a bit of sun seas and sand for your hen or stag do and have already celebrated stag dos or have simply ticked off the traditional seaside hen and stag destinations and looking for something a little different then a North Devon Stag Do may well fit the bill. The towns and cities of the west country have been popular staycation destinations for years with families and groups from all over the country and the reasons are many. For starters you get a ‘better than average climate’ meaning it’s going to be better than most parts of the country, the surrounding countryside and rugged coastline is both stunning and offers some fantastic opportunities to enjoy yourselves with some hen and stag do activities such as Coasteering and various other amazing water sports, Then there’s the beaches. The North Devon beaches are deep witch means there’s plenty of room to set up base and enjoy some time basking in the sun and there are many hidden gems along the coastline, where you may well find space for a game of football or rounders.
Once you’ve made the decision of the destination, then comes the accommodation and the Devon Hideaway may well be the perfect choice for your group. Location
Having already mentioned its proximity to the beaches of North Devon, there’s plenty of nearby towns to explore, each one offering something a little different for your North Devon Stag Do. The ever popular staycation town of Bude is only 20 miles away and you’re only 30 miles away from the popular coastal town of Woolacombe. Each town is well worth of exploring and each offer good access to beaches and a selection of bars and pubs to enjoy a meal and pint or two. Another nearby town worth of a visit is the seaside town of Westward Ho, worthy of visiting for it’s name alone, Westward Ho is a fantastic bustling little seaside town with a great selection of bars and restaurants.
If you’re feeling adventurous and want to enjoy some North Devon hen and stag Do Activities, there are two fantastic activity centres within driving distance offering a selection of hilarious and challenging activities ranginf from, A Total Wipeout style water assault course, coasteering, disc golf, high ropes course, kayaking, surfing, stand up paddleboards, the hilarious inflatable waterpark and the fantastic mountain boarding. For some refreshments close to the stag party house, there is a pub 150 yards away offering a good selection of ales, beers and food.
The Devon Hideaway is easy to find using a say nav and on arrival you’ll find plenty of parking.
The House
Kitchen & Dining Area
The large kitchen and dining area has been designed with groups in mind. The sizable kitchen contains all the things you would need for the weekend with Toaster, kettle, washing machine, oven and microwave. There is also a large American style fridge freezer to store all your supplies and to keep your beers and wine cool, perfect for those summer afternoons. There is area a few shops nearby should you run out or forget something. The dining area has a dining table and chairs and there is a wall mounted telly so even if you’re on cooking duty you won’t miss any of the film or match, you’re watching. There is also a double doorway to the well-kept outdoor area.
Outside
Outside the Devon Hideaway you’ll find a well manicured lawn area and enough garden furniture and seating for your group. It’s this outside area you’ll find the state of the art hot tub and free standing swimming pool perfect for chilling or having an early morning dip! There is a sizable playing field adjacent to the garden where re your Devon stag do can enjoy a kick about using the goals that are set up or you can enjoy a selection of lawn games for when things get competitive or you can take advantage of the barbeque to make the most of the summer afternoons or evenings.
Bedrooms
The bedroom configuration as follows:-
bedroom 1 – is on the ground floor with twin beds and a single bed. There is also an ensuite shower room.
Bedroom 2 – Has a King Size bed and bunk bed. Bedroom 2 also has an ensuite bathroom with large 2 person jacuzzi bath with shower.

bed 4 - 3 x single beds, or two can be connected to make a super king and a single with ensuite shower room

Lounge
The lounge area is the perfect social space, with enough sofa seating for your whole Devon Stag Do, there is a log burner and wall mounted tv for you to make use of. The lounge area is a great social space and is large enough for you to enjoy any of our amazing in house hen and stag do activities. Some of our most popular ones include the hilarious Courtroom Comedy Roast, which sees a professional comedian and, with a little prior help from the group comes to the accommodation and roasts the stag. This hilarious activity is proving hugely popular, so we highly recommend booking early for this one. The sexy poker night is also really popular with stag groups which sees a sexy croupier deal and manage a game of poker for the group. Devon Hen Dos also have an abundance of hen activities to choose from with Psychic Hen Nights and Murder Mystery Evenings featureing live actors being very popular.
