This stunning cottage is set in a beautiful rural landscape close to village life and would act as the perfect backdrop for groups who want to enjoy time with their friends and the surroundings rather than hit the nightclubs. That not to say you’re limited in terms of stag and hen weekend activities available to you, you have a wealth of options available to you on your hen and stag weekend staying at The Paddock 1.

This super farmhouse property is located just south of the lake district in the heart of the gorgeous Derbyshire Dales. The whole space is entirely your own and is completely private, with some added shared facilities with a nearby lodging. The gardens are extensive with beautiful panoramic views of the rolling hills and countryside. This stunning stag and hen party accommodation sleeps up to seventeen guests, and they may be other cottages available to increase the amount of beds for your party across properties. It’s the perfect base to discover the surrounding areas, such as the lake district, or take one of the picturesque walks that are on offer to you right from your doorstep. The nearest City is Derby which is a half an hour drive away and a little further on is Nottingham which is about an hour away by car.

LOCATION

Nestled in the heart of the rural Derbyshire Dales, this impressive party house accommodation is easy to reach by car and there is much to discover in this lush green heart of the midlands. Local farm shops can be found tucked away on the side roads and are perfect if you want to taste the local produce freshly grown, and the charming little grey stone village of Kniveton is only a short walk away. Here you will find a pub called The Red Lion (to be served up fine ales and tasty food) and a post office. The market town of Ashbourne is a short drive from your accommodation. In Ashbourne you will find restaurants, coffee shops, some high street favourites, supermarkets and artisan stores. This is an ideal location for visiting attractions in and around the southern part of the Peak District; both Chatsworth House and Alton Towers are easy and quick to reach by car. Explore a landscape rich in industrial heritage, literary inspiration and glorious views – just fifteen minutes away sits Tissington Halli; a Jacobean Mansion from the 17 ^th century, boasting a fascinating blend of architecture, period furnishings and captivating artwork. The Tissington Trail is a picturesque walking and cycling path that follows a converted old railway line. It winds through the Derbyshire Dales offering stunning views of the countryside and glimpses of historic railway structures.

INSIDE

The lounge area if beautiful and elegant. Low beams, rugs and a feature fireplace characterize this main living space and is great for everyone to collect for games or activities. For quiet movie night – there is a specialized cinema room, newly finished with bean bags and soft seating plus a DVD library for your exclusive enjoyment. This accommodation really makes great use of having beds that can be doubles or split into singles to ensure everyone can have their own bed if required and not having to share. The kitchen is beautifully finished, with again lots of space in case more than one chef is needed for the cooking. An area down the bottom means conversation can flow even when pots are being watched. The dining area is spacious and open with a gorgeous long wooden table for your party to sit at. It’s perfect for beer pong (or prosecco pong, whichever your fancy) and of course any other daytime activities you do in house. The bathrooms are simple and stylishly tiled, and the bedrooms all have enchanting names with decors to match. Lastly a Games room is available for your use and includes Pool tables, table football and table tennis.

The Kitchen

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up culinary delights for your entire party – or just stick with the bacon sandwiches and tea and toast and hire in your own personal chef to amaze you with their cooking talent. There is a huge fridge freezer you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans and glassware you will need for your stay. There is a kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave all positioned on the countertop. The tiled herringbone pattern on the wood effect floor compliments the wicker chairs and footstool. They are perfectly placed at the end of the kitchen as we all know that’s where everyone gathers for easy access to nibbles and the fridge for cold drinks!

There are seven bedrooms with the following configuration.

*The Lavendar Room* 1 x double OR 2 x singles plus an ensuite

All bed linen is provided, and each bedroom has its own unique design and colour scheme with gorgeous wall prints and snug duvets on the beds. An optional sofa bed is available in the lounge area of needed.

Games Room

Easily worthy of it's own section is the fantastic games room. This is a shared games room with the other cottages nearby, the Games room includes classics such as Table Football, Snooker, Pool, Billiards and Table Tennis for when time call for a bit of competativeness.

Outside & The Hot tub

As you would expect for a farmhouse property in the Derbyshire Dales – the grounds surrounding this party house are beautiful, offering stunning panoramic views of folding landscape and rolling hills. At night-time the hot tub gives an uninterrupted vista of starlit skies. There is a terrace with charming garden furniture and a BBQ for outside eating. Lots of grass area is available for outside play with plenty of shade opportunities should the sun be too hot to bask in.
