INTRO

There is plenty of great value parking on the street near the house, or there is a commercial parking facility nearby at Mermaid Quay.

LOCATION

The Bunkhouse is located in the heart of Cardiff Bay, and a hop, skip and a jump from the beautiful Mermaid Quay. Previously a busy port, the area has successfully been regenerated and is now a thriving leisure area. Restaurants, bars, theatres, museums, galleries, cafes and even a boat tour are all available in Beautiful Cardiff. Transport options are all available right from your doorstep. Buses take just over ten minutes to reach the town centre for those looking to explore the city centre, however Taxis are also an option and are obviously quicker, but for the less budget conscious. The train station is also a short walk away, or go hardcore and walk into the city centre; this is about a twenty minute walk and there are plenty of traditional pubs and bars en-route.

INSIDE

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. There are two living rooms plus the extra chillout areas and terrace space. Scattered in each are many bean bags along with the comfy sofas to lose yourself in while deep in chat. A large fifty five inch screen is perfect for a Sunday morning movie on Netflix. Freeview is also available. Or on a more quiet note, fold yourself into a beanbag and read or just relax. For those who enjoy being a little more active there is Table Football and a small pool table for your use. There is wood effect flooring throughout the first floor which is complimented by thick pile rugs to break it up and to feel softly underfoot. The décor is bright in every room and living area of this massive hen party accommodation. With plenty of mirrors in each of the areas, plus four separate restrooms, you can rest assured that everyone will have somewhere to get themselves ready for the shenanigans ahead, whether that’s a bottomless brunch, or cocktail making! Whatever takes your fancy you will be well prepared for!

KITCHEN & DINING

The fully functional kitchen in the The Bunkhouse is the hub of the home; it has all the tools you will need for your weekend and appliances include fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Range cooker with hob and ovens. Of course, this also includes your basics such as a kettle, toaster and microwave. Start your days off with tea and toast as you look over the schedule for the day ahead or take a quick trip to the local coffeehouse and shout the coffees for everyone on the first morning! That will get you the brownie points ready for when you’re feeling hangover blues the next day. There is plenty of fridge room to keep stocked up on nibbles and drinks for your stay and don’t forget you can always bring in the spirit supplies to bring extra flair to your party when you’re ready to get the cocktails flowing. A kitchen in a lovely space like this would not be complete without a magnificently long dining table which runs the length of the room. Games and crafting events can easily be pictured here, with an easy transformation into the night-time action once the lights are dimmed and the music is turned up.

BEDROOMS

Allocated across the four bedrooms, will be twenty two single beds making it perfect for privacy throughout your stag or hen weekend. Included in this is 3 bunk beds which perhaps should carry a health warning! Maybe ensure anyone in bunk beds doesn’t drink too much for the night! Each room has its own distinctive and welcoming style to whip you away into a dreamworld once you retire at the end of the evening.

BATHROOMS

With three restrooms throughout the Bunkhouse and plenty of mirrors dotted about; there is enough room for everyone to get ready for the evening ahead. Bathrooms are of a Monochrome style with a splash of colour to give its own distinctive presence.

TERRACE

Lastly, we mustn’t forget the charming little terrace on the first floor of this lovely hen house lodging. There are bistro tables and chairs placed up here for your comfort and it is a perfect little space to bring up your morning coffee if you are one of the first to wake up in the morning. You just may have to clear away the cold tea cups and empty glasses from anyone using this area at the end of the night before!
