Intro
Converted coachouse style property with charismatic views over York’s historic city’s wall. The Glider stag and hen party house is ideal for all groups whether the plan is to enjoy an action packed weekend of hi octane, adrenaline fuelled activities and nightlife or whether the plan is for a chilled one spending time with your friends and activities come to you, The Glider is perfect for everyone, with enough space throughout to ensue all guests are comfortable.
Location
Perfectly located close to city centre in cul-de-sac location just outside the city walls. Near enough to York’s nightlife not to have to worry about taxis and far enough away not to be disturbed by load music and the general noise that comes about after dark.
There are plenty of shops nearby to stock up on stag and hen do supplies and plenty of shopping opportunities if you fancy splashing out. Most notably, Glider is half a mile away from the Shambles market, famous for being the inspiration for Harry Potters Diagon Alley, which is definitely worth a visit either to visit one of the local bars, enjoy a bit of retail therapy or just simply check it out.
Getting there is easy and the property come with one allocated card parking space that can accommodate one large SUV or estate or two smaller cars. Multiple surface car park are only a short distance away. Getting around York is easy as there are plenty of bus routes as well as electric scooter hire, which are an excellent way to explore the city.
Outside
A fabulous feature of this stag and hen do accommodation is the outdoor veranda. A great outside space to take advantage of any good weather you may have on your weekend away. The stunning views that overlook the historical and charismatic wall of York Minster.
Lounge
The open plan lounge area has clearly been designed with large groups in mind, this perfect social space has a large tv and spacious U-shape sofa so your group can relax in comfort
Kitchen & dining area
Fully equipped kitchen with all the whitegoods your stag or hen do could possibly need, including fridges to keep your beer and wine cold and a kettle for that important cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The dining area has enough seat for all guests which is great for keeping everyone together and makes socialising and dining together easy. It’s the perfect space for any activities you want to have in the house, for example, a private chef to come in and serve you a delicious meal or for a murder mystery evening.
Bedrooms
The four large spacious bedrooms ensure all guests have enough space to be comfortable and all have good quality beds and luxury linen and towels and toiletries are provided.
There are 4 large bedrooms spread across the three floors
Bedroom 1 is based on the ground floor and sleeps 4 comfortably in 4 single beds
Bedroom 2 is another large comfortable space sleeping 5 in single beds
Bedroom 3 sleeps 4 in built in bunk beds
Bedroom 4 has a single and double, sleeping 2 or 3 if a couple of the group don’t mind sharing.
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms have baths and over bath showers ensuring everyone can get ready quickly and no one is waiting around too long to get out and enjoy this fantastic city.
