Converted Coach House with City Wall Views
This converted coach house style property boasts charismatic views over York’s historic city walls. The Glider party house is ideal for all groups, whether the plan is to enjoy an action-packed weekend of high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled activities and nightlife, or whether the plan is for a chilled one spending time with your friends where the activities come to you. The Glider is perfect for everyone, with enough space throughout to ensure all guests are comfortable.
Location: Near The Shambles & Nightlife
Perfectly located close to the city centre in a cul-de-sac location just outside the city walls. It is near enough to York’s nightlife not to have to worry about taxis, but far enough away not to be disturbed by loud music and the general noise that comes about after dark.
There are plenty of shops nearby to stock up on supplies and plenty of shopping opportunities if you fancy splashing out. Most notably, The Glider is half a mile away from the **Shambles Market**, famous for being the inspiration for Harry Potter's Diagon Alley, which is definitely worth a visit either to check out one of the local bars or enjoy a bit of retail therapy.
Getting there is easy and the property comes with **One Allocated Car Parking Space** that can accommodate one large SUV or estate (or two smaller cars). Multiple surface car parks are only a short distance away. Getting around York is easy as there are plenty of bus routes as well as electric scooter hire, which is an excellent way to explore the city.
Outdoor Veranda with Minster Views
A fabulous feature of this accommodation is the **Outdoor Veranda**. It is a great outside space to take advantage of any good weather you may have on your weekend away. The stunning views overlook the historical and charismatic wall of York Minster.

Kitchen & Dining Area
The fully equipped kitchen comes with all the appliances your group could possibly need, including fridges to keep your beer and wine cold and a kettle for that important cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
The dining area has enough seats for all guests which is great for keeping everyone together and makes socialising and dining together easy. It’s the perfect space for any activities you want to have in the house, for example, a **Private Chef** to come in and serve you a delicious meal or for a Murder Mystery evening.
Flexible Sleeping Arrangements
The four large spacious bedrooms ensure all guests have enough space to be comfortable. All have good quality beds, and luxury linen, towels, and toiletries are provided.
Bedroom 1: Ground floor, sleeps 4 (4 single beds).
Bedroom 2: Large comfortable space sleeping 5 (single beds).
Bedroom 3: Sleeps 4 in built-in bunk beds.
Bedroom 4: Single and double bed (sleeps 2-3).
The Lounge can sleep an extra 2 people on a sofa bed.
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms have baths and over-bath showers ensuring everyone can get ready quickly and no one is waiting around too long to get out and enjoy this fantastic city.
