Location: Near The Shambles & Chocolate Museum
The York Treat is in a perfect location. On the seven-minute walk into the city centre, you will pass the world-famous **Shambles Market** and a Chocolate Museum (which includes a shop), so even the journey in is full of things to do!
With more than ten bars located within a ten-minute walking radius (and the closest being just one minute away), you won’t have to go far to find yourself a great bar to spend some time in.
You won’t be lacking for activities. Many of these are located in the city centre, meaning that this accommodation remains absolutely perfectly located for your hen do. It’s also only located a mile away from the train station, so whether you are coming by train or by car, you will find it incredibly easy to get to.
Bespoke Kitchen & Dining
The bespoke kitchen is a perfect part of the York Treat experience. It’s got a gorgeous **Range Oven** and a huge dining table which is perfect for you and the girls to catch up as you enjoy an amazing meal.
The table itself seats ten, and there is also an island that seats an additional four, meaning that you can all sit down and have a great time with a drink and some food.
The **Lounge** is beautiful and perfect for you and the hens to relax in. There are amazingly comfortable sofas that you can all relax on – so whether you want to chat with a drink, read a book, or watch a film, you’ll be in the height of comfort.
5 Opulent Named Bedrooms
This beautiful house has five opulent bedrooms, offering the height of comfort. They’ve even got names, which shows you just how high-class a place this is!
Shambles: The smallest room but packed full of character (this would have been the kitchen in the original Georgian house). Contains two single beds that can be combined to form a Superking.
Minster: Beautifully panelled room with a King sized bed, open fireplace, three huge sash windows, and a gorgeous chandelier.
Bettys: Another panelled room (the original master bedroom). Features window seats by the two windows to allow you to relax and look out over the city.
Barbican: The largest room in the house. A twin (beds can be combined into a Superking) plus a velvet sofa bed in the dressing area. Features exposed timber trusses and a sloping ceiling.
Foss: Also has a sloping ceiling and exposed trusses. A twin (can be Superking) and is a richly decorated, gorgeous room.
5 Luxury Bathrooms (Roll Top Baths)
This amazing property houses **five bathrooms**, one for each bedroom. These are located very close to the bedrooms (either next to them or across the hall). They offer a selection of facilities, meaning that there are a total of three shower rooms, and two bathrooms that contain **Roll Top Baths** – one of which even has a fireplace for the ultimate in relaxation!
