Large Converted Barns in North Devon
For large groups looking to get away from it all and celebrate a Stag or Hen Do in style and comfort, the Devon Barns should definitely be on your list. Whether you’re a traditional stag or hen do or you’re planning a mixed group "Sten Do" looking for the perfect celebration, the Devon Barns provides a spacious, comfortable, and feature-filled country getaway.
The Devon Barns are two adjacent converted barns offering a fantastic example of open-plan living. You’ll find the perfect blend of the rustic and the modern working hand in hand to give you light and airy accommodation with a traditional country feel.
Groups of up to **29 guests** can enjoy this ‘Rural but not isolated’ party house. It has been purposely designed to cater for groups or large family gatherings and does a magnificent job of keeping the group together despite being split across two adjacent properties.
Rural Location: Pub within Walking Distance
This amazing pair of party houses are set in a rural location, but that certainly doesn’t mean ‘in the middle of nowhere’. There is plenty to see, do, and enjoy beyond the facilities available at the properties.
Starting with the nearest, you have a **Pub literally 150 yards down the road** offering a decent selection of beers, wines, and food options. Should you need a top-up of essential supplies there is also a shop nearby.
Being in North Devon puts you in a great position to explore the stunning and rugged coastline. Among these intricate rocky outcrops, you’ll find some of North Devon's best beaches and seaside towns. One of our favourites is **Westward Ho!**, with its superb beaches and selection of restaurants and bars, well worthy of the 20-minute drive.
For the adventurous among you, there are two amazing activity sites within half an hour’s drive offering hilarious activities ranging from an Inflatable Waterpark to a more relaxing Stand Up Paddleboard session. Nearer to home, there are stables if your group would like to experience a horse-riding lesson, whilst a 5-minute drive down the road there is a country club offering full leisure facilities.
Open Plan Living & Social Dining
Both properties have large open-plan kitchen and dining areas which are perfect to get everyone together for meals and any entertainment you have planned.
The kitchens are well equipped for larger stag and hen dos and come with all the equipment you need during your stay. Large American-style fridge freezers are perfect to store your supplies, and all cutlery and glassware is provided. The kitchen is perfect if you fancy enhancing your stay with one of our **Private Chefs**, who’ll come to the property and create a two or three-course meal in a style of your choosing.

Combined, the two properties have 10 spacious bedrooms. The larger of the two properties has 6 bedrooms whilst the smaller one has 4 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1: Twin room with en-suite (shower over bath).
Bedroom 2: Twin + bunk bed with en-suite (shower over bath).
Bedroom 3: King-size bed and en-suite shower.
Bedroom 4: Double bed + single bed above (triple bunk) and en-suite shower.
Bedroom 5: King-size bed + single bed and en-suite shower.
Bedroom 6: Ground floor King + single bed and en-suite walk-in shower.
Bedroom 7: Ground floor Twin + single bed and en-suite shower.
Bedroom 8: King Size bed + bunk bed and en-suite with large 2-person jacuzzi bath.
Bedroom 9: King bed plus en-suite shower.
Bedroom 10: 3 x single beds (or Super king + single) with en-suite shower.
Two Hot Tubs & Swimming Pools
Making use of the two party houses gives you so much more. Larger groups can enjoy the **Two State-of-the-Art Hot Tubs** and **Two Free-Standing Swimming Pools**.
The stone patio areas and gardens of both properties are adjacent, so you’ve got plenty of social space and aren't separated from each other. The large playing field next to the two well-manicured gardens gives you a great opportunity to play some football or enjoy some lawn games.
Lounges & Games Area
Both properties have large lounges with wall-mounted TVs and large sofas so everyone can be comfortable. Sky TV is available (including sports!). Both properties also have some table games available if your group fancies a tournament, with **Table Football** and a PlayStation 3 ready for you to have fun with.
