INTRO
The word Villa is normally used to describe accommodation out in Europe somewhere, but given that the dictionary definition is “a large, usually luxurious house, often located in the countryside (…) typically used as a retreat or vacation home”, then Yorkshire Villa definitely deserves the title. After all, this is a stunning 2700 square foot luxury hen house that sleeps anywhere up to twelve guests, and gives you the sort of luxurious life that everyone dreams of.
And that’s just the main house. There’s also a small cottage opposite that can be rented at the same time which sleeps an additional four people, bringing the total amount of space available up to sixteen – which I think we can all agree is pretty perfect for any hen do. You’ve already seen the pictures, I don’t need to spend time justifying how gorgeous the place is, so lets get down to the details so that you can book it asap, shall we?
LOCATION
This stunning villa is located amongst the glorious rolling hills of Yorkshire. When you arrive, you will feel as if you have entered some kind of serene wonderland, as the vibe is so different from anywhere else in the country. That all sounds pretty great, but I know that some of you may be wondering whether there is anywhere you can go for a big night out when staying at the Villa? Yes, you have a couple of options, Harrogate is well worth a visit and is only 8 miles away but if you want to explore a larger city then there is Leeds (23 miles) and York (30 miles), both of which offer amazing nights out and activities, so you can easily arrange a big night out on one (or more) of the nights you are staying at the villa, and still spend your days surround by the serene landscape and chilling in the pool.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen in the main house is the sort of kitchen you’ve seen in a showroom and desired for yourself. It’s got everything you could possibly want, and so much more besides. Multiple ovens, toaster, kettles, all mod cons you could possibly need for any kind of meal you are intending to make for the girls. Or maybe none of you want to make the meal, and you are looking for something a little more special? In which case, why not hire a private chef to come in and make you something that much more amazing? Any chef worth their salt will find this kitchen easy and comfortable to cook in.
After you’ve cooked the meal (or had it cooked for you), then you do all need somewhere to eat, and luckily the Villa has you covered here as well. Next to the kitchen is a dining room with plenty of space for you to all sit down and eat together – after all, nothing makes a meal better than being with your friends while you eat.
There is also an additional kitchen area in the cottage, along with an additional dining area, so if you do need to be cooking different things at the same time (or if the people in the cottage are early risers and those in the main house less so), then that’s not a problem whatsoever.
BEDROOMS
As I’ve already mentioned, you can sleep up to sixteen people in the villa, with twelve in the main house and four in the cottage, so here’s how those rooms break down to help you with your planning:

BATHROOMS
The main house has a total of three bathrooms – the two en-suites that have been mentioned before and a family bathroom on the first floor for people not in the en-suite rooms. There is also an additional cloakroom on the ground floor. Meanwhile, over in the cottage, there is an additional bathroom as well, bringing the total across the entire villa to being four bathrooms and a cloakroom.
ADDITIONAL ROOMS
While the cottage does have a small living area, most of the communal space is (unsurprisingly) located in the main house. There is a large lounge with comfortable chairs, a stunning large window to allow all the natural light in and a TV for watching whatever you want. This is a perfect place for you and the girls to have a drink and a chat and just relax – whether that’s before you go out, or in the morning when you are nursing a hangover. But that’s not the only communal space in the main house, as there is also a pool room housing a proper pool table so you can knock the balls around to see who is the best, all without leaving the house!
OUTSIDE
I’ve not even mentioned the outside of this villa yet, and to be honest, it’s the best part. I’ve already mentioned the stunning views, but the garden itself is filled with gorgeous plants and flowers, and also has sun loungers so that you can chill out with a drink surrounded by the beauty of nature.
