Nestled on the border of the fantastic Peak District, The Idyllic Party House is perfect for groups seeking some sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of town or city life. This leafy village makes for the perfect getaway, and despite being relatively rural, there are plenty of things to see, do, and explore on your hen do in the Peak District. As you can imagine, there are a lot of outdoorsy activities available, in addition to leisurely walks in the countryside. There are activity centres offering fantastic and challenging activities such as high ropes courses, assault courses, and gorge scrambling to test you physically. For the more leisurely pursuits, you can find paddle boarding or horse riding. Alternatively, you can try out some classic traditional countryside pursuits like clay pigeon shooting or a day at the races, or you can test your mind with the challenging escape rooms. The House

Outside

The stunning garden area extends from the side of the house, and the patio area and garden itself are slightly elevated, so you get incredible panoramic views of the surrounding rolling hills and countryside. There is a large garden furniture set on the patio, which is perfect for groups who would like to enjoy some mealtimes outside, and rattan-style furniture around the side of the Idyllic Peak District Party House, which is perfect for relaxing around, playing some games, and enjoying some ice-cold drinks in the sunshine.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The Idyllic Peak District Party House has five bedrooms and can sleep up to 14 guests. Each room is well decorated to keep in line with other areas of the house and comes with bedroom furniture to store your belongings. Each bedroom also comes with its own TV, and the beds can be configured so your hen do can all have single beds if you want. The main bedroom also has the luxury of an ensuite wet room complete with a superb massage shower, so make sure the hen claims that bedroom first. Bedroom five also has the luxury of ensuite facilities.

The three bathrooms in the Idyllic Peak District Party House are simply stunning and look like they’ve just come out of a magazine and, despite having a very modern vibe, somehow perfectly blend in with the rustic ambience elsewhere in the property.

Lounge & Games Room

The lounge area is warm and cosy and comes with a wood burner, which is perfect for those cooler evenings. There are comfy sofas and chairs on which to relax. The large wall-mounted TV and surround sound are perfect for movie nights.

The bi-fold doors leading to the garden almost feel like a picture and really add to the whole ambience of the Idyllic Peak District Party House.

Those that like pub games will be happy to hear that in the room adjacent to the lounge is a games room that comes with a full-size pool table, which is perfect for when things get competitive. You can play both English pool and 8/9 ball pool, but there are other games that are perfect for groups that get everyone involved, one of which is Killer. The rules are pretty simple: everyone has a go in turn and has to pot a ball, otherwise they lose a life. You start with three lives, and the last standing wins. Rerack the balls when you’re down to the last ball, and the person that breaks gets two shots if they need them to keep it fair. To add a little extra into the rules, the person who pots the black gets an extra life. A great way to spend an evening with your hen do.

Kitchen & Diner

The kitchen and dining area is a great example of open-plan living and really helps keep the party together when you have people on cooking duty. The fully equipped kitchen is both functional and a great place for getting together and having a chat whilst your designated chef is preparing you a feast. You can expect all the mod cons here, with plenty of storage space for your supplies and a sizable fridge freezer to keep your drinks ice cold.
