40 Acres of gorgeous countryside await your Peak District hen weekend, and nestled within this lush greenery is the stunning stone-clad cottage, The Gaze. This Peak District Hen Party House is a great way to spend a weekend (or longer).
The Gaze sleeps up to **12 guests** across five spacious bedrooms and guests will find plenty of parking onsite as you would expect with a rural property of this size. The wow factor will certainly kick in as you approach the property and this continues once you step inside. You’d be hard-pressed to find a Peak District party house which is better decorated and equipped to such a high standard.
Location: Near Bakewell & River Wye
The Peak District really is one of the UK’s treasures. Its landscape has everything from rolling agricultural hills to rugged outcrops. It’s a hiker's dream. However, that doesn’t mean you have to be an ardent outdoorsy type to enjoy the many other activities and places to explore.
For starters, there are many market towns, villages, and hamlets. The largest of which is the bustling and quaint market town of **Bakewell**. Bakewell is only a 20-minute drive from The Gaze, and any hen weekend would find this the perfect opportunity to sample the famous **Bakewell Pudding**.
If your group fancies challenging themselves physically then you might enjoy a High Ropes Course, Abseiling, or Caving. For something a bit more relaxing, look no further than **Canoeing** or **Stand Up Paddleboarding** along the peaceful River Wye.
Gaming Lounge with Pool Table
One of the more popular features of The Gaze is the **Gaming Lounge**, which includes a full-size **Pool Table** for your group to enjoy throughout your stay.
This charismatic part of the house has loads of character, exemplified by the aged wooden beams that add so much charm to the lounge area. A large TV means that movie nights can be on the itinerary and the comfy sofas mean your group can relax in comfort.
Farmhouse Kitchen with Aga
As you would expect from a large countryside cottage, The Gaze is well equipped. The spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area is a great place to socialise, play games, and whip up a delicious meal.
The Kitchen comes equipped with all the gizmos and gadgets you could possibly need, topped off with a **Traditional Aga** which complements the overall vibe and ambience. The dining area has a large dining table which is a great place to sit together and play any games you brought with you.
5 Bedrooms (Sleeps 12)
There are five neatly decorated bedrooms in The Gaze. Each bedroom has its own TV and bedroom furniture. The bed configuration is set to doubles but can be changed over for two singles or a twin should that be your group's preference.
Good quality bed linen and towels are provided. Two of the bedrooms benefit from **En-Suite Facilities** which have a modern décor. There is also a main family bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a downstairs toilet which is mega handy.
Summer House & Garden
The beautiful grounds at The Gaze offer a great social space. Alfresco dining is always popular here, with BBQ facilities on hand and a stylish **Rattan Garden Set**.
You can also enjoy the use of the **Summer House**, which includes sofas and a **Table Football** table for when your group wants to get competitive and have some fun.
