The Yorkshire Treat is only a short drive to the bright lights of the fabulous city of **York**. This amazing city, with its fascinating history and abundance of activities, is the ideal base.
York has been a popular destination for many years and has been evolving to include some superb activities. **York Racecourse**, Cocktail Masterclasses, and Escape Rooms are very popular. For the more adrenaline-minded, you can enjoy action-style activities like Quad Biking, Go Karting, or Clay Pigeon Shooting.
The Hunters Lodge: Bar & Games Room
The charming Yorkshire Treat comes with a delightful **Hunters Lodge** that really lives up to the ‘rustic’ description, with its hardwood floors and wooden panelling.
The décor and sofas match the natural colour palette making for a very warm and cosy area in which to enjoy the full television package that includes the sports channels. The **Bar Area** is particularly handy meaning you don’t have to go too far for a refill. The lounge area makes for a great social space, and the **Pool Table** is a welcome addition for when you fancy a few frames. For darts fans, there’s also a dartboard!
