It has a bijoux and compact city centre, ensuring that when you need to get from one central activity to another (or just want to travel from bar to bar), you won’t have to walk very far at all, which is ideal.
As with most UK cities, there are also great bus services and a selection of taxis – so even if you decide you don’t want to walk, you won’t have any issues getting where you need to be.
Lincoln’s a university city, which does of course mean that it’s got nightlife that is to die for. (Not literally, obviously!) It is well known for it’s array of nightspots for you and the girls to enjoy a drink, a dance and who knows what else in! A good place to start your night out is down on the wharf, with an array of bars in that area (including one that rhymes with “Never Spoons” and is well known for being cheap and therefore a great place to start the evening), and some gorgeous views over the water to enjoy before you get tipsy enough that you don’t care about the view!
After that, your options are going to depend on what sort of venue you fancy. There are an array of more traditional pubs, some of which boast live music or other entertainments on different nights, which can really add some extra dimension or flavour to your Lincoln hen do.
Alternatively you can hit up some of the other bars, before finding your way to one of the cities popular nightclubs, many of which are open until 4am – so you can drink and dance the night away and stagger back to your accommodation as the sun comes up – a perfect end to a night out!
