Georgian Terrace House Near City Walls
Outside the accommodation, you’ll find a charismatic Georgian house which is spread over two floors, giving your group a fantastic base for your weekend away. This spacious party house is set in a terrace within a short walking distance of **York’s City Walls** and its amazing selection of shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs.
Superbly decorated with high-quality furnishings throughout, this accommodation has a light and airy feel to keep in with the mood for a weekend celebration. There are so many activities in the local vicinity; some of our most popular are Bubble Football, Cocktail Masterclasses, Horse Racing, and Bottomless Afternoon Teas. If you are willing to go a little further out, then you can enjoy some activities that are difficult to do in the city centre like Clay Pigeon Shooting and Quad Biking.
Location: Near River Ouse & The Shambles
The house sits west of the River Ouse, close to the most southerly part of York’s historic wall and is close to the **Victoria Bar** gate giving your group easy access into the city. Alternatively, if you want to visit the other side of the city you can cross over the river via Skeldergate Bridge which is equally only a short walk away.
One of the main advantages of this property is that despite its city centre location, you are far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy some peace and quiet but near enough to not have to worry about getting to and from the amazing nightlife.
As you would expect with a city centre location, all traditional high street retailers have a presence. If you’re up for something a little more bohemian you’re only a short walk from the world-famous **Shambles Market**, known for being the inspiration for Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter franchise. If a day at the races is on the cards, then **York Racecourse**, the oldest horse racing track in the UK, is nearby.
Social Lounge & In-House Activities
With enough seating space for all guests, this beautiful lounge comes with a large TV for any downtime watching a film or any interactive games you’ve brought with you. The space gives groups a great area for socialising, sitting around having a few drinks, or for any activities that come to you.
Hen weekends may like Mobile Pamper Treatments, Cheeky Butlers or a Murder Mystery, while Stags may want to enjoy a **Private Chef** or Mobile Cocktail Masterclass.

There are 4 bedrooms with high-quality hotel-style beds and good quality bedding throughout. Towels and complimentary toiletries are available.
The room configuration can be altered to ensure groups don’t have to share beds and are configured in singles and sofa beds to make the best use of the available space whilst ensuring the group are comfortable.

There is a full-size bathroom and a separate shower room, ensuring there isn't too much queuing in the morning!
