Unique Glamping Experience with Hot Tubs
If you’re looking for something slightly different for your Hen or Stag Do then the Bournemouth Safari Tents are just what you need. There is no better way to finish off a day of adrenaline and petrol-fuelled fun than to be camping out under the stars in the middle of the country with a bonfire burning, a BBQ on the go and enjoying a few cold bevvies whilst in the hot tub!
Flexible Group Accommodation Options
The venue offers 4 pitches and your pitch will be allocated depending on your final group size:
Pitch 1: Sleeps 24 (12 per tent)
Pitch 2: Sleeps max 20 (6 in a larger tent and then smaller safari pods sleeping 4 in each)
Pitch 3: Sleeps 20 (12 in 1 tent and 8 in the second tent)
Pitch 4: Sleeps 8 in 1 tent and 5 in another tent (2 double and a single)
If your group size is larger than a pitch can accommodate, you will be allocated another pitch, or a safari pod/bell tent can be added to accommodate your group size.
Rural Dorset Location & On-Site Activities
The Safari tents are situated within a large site based in the heart of Dorset, only 40 mins drive from Bournemouth town centre. Once you have arrived you won't have any reason to leave the site the whole weekend as everything you need for an adrenaline weekend will be accessible onsite.
There is a fantastic selection of activities to choose from including:
Driving: Off Road Buggies, Quad Biking, Argo Cats 6x6, and Powerturns.
Shooting: Clay Pigeon Shooting (18 shots) or Assault Rifle Shooting (30 shots).
Other: Blind 4x4 Driving, Human Table Football, Archery, Crossbow, Axe Throwing, Knife Throwing, Bubble Football, and Assault Course.
However, if you fancy the Bournemouth nightlife, we can of course offer return minibuses for the group. We would recommend bringing your own booze and food along with your trunks and fancy dress costumes. Note: you most definitely will not be getting any signal at all throughout the weekend… for pure peace! If you ever feel like venturing out of the site you have some of the best coastlines in the UK right on your doorstep, with Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door only a 20-minute drive away.
Outdoor Living & Fire Pits
The communal living is a mixture of outdoor space and shelter, with comfy garden furniture that can be positioned however you like on your pitch and fairy lights to keep the natural feel throughout the evening. As well as this, you will have more than enough flat grassy land to use in whichever way you can entertain yourself. The drinking game ideas are endless!
Self-Catering Facilities
Merging in with the living space, the tents are equipped with everything you need, from a fridge freezer to a kettle and more than enough cutlery and crockery to go round! There are electricity points throughout the tent for charging phones, hairdryers, portable lighting, or speakers. There are also portable hobs and pans provided if needed.
Cozy Bunkhouse Sleeping
The tents are pretty self-explanatory. All bedrooms included 2 spacious bunkbeds, meaning 4 people to each room. Although the rooms are very minimalistic, they have all you really need for a good night’s sleep: soft mattress & pillows, curtains to offer privacy, and bedside lamps to feel cosy.
Important: All you need to bring is your sleeping bag and you are good to go. Don’t worry either—during the winter months the tents will have portable heaters if needed in the night, and they are insulated so you are sure not to get cold!
Private Bathroom Facilities
Each tent will be allocated their own private showers and toilet for the group. Depending on the pitch this will be located directly next to the accommodation or, with one pitch, it is a short walk of around 50m away. There is also nothing better than feeling closer to nature than an outside shower with running hot water. The site also offers public facilities of toilets and showers for the daytime when they accommodate other groups, so you won’t only have 1 toilet between the whole group for the duration of your stay.
