About Stuttgart

Why should I choose a Stuttgart Stag Do?

Germany has been experiencing a renaissance among Stag Do destinations lately, and it’s easy to see why. With great beer and food and an atmosphere so unique, German destinations are easily one of our most requested. And while Stuttgart may not immediately leap to your mind when considering Germany, it is an extremely good location for a brilliant stag do.

Stuttgart is known for being a destination particularly appealing to those of you who are keen petrol heads, as it was the birthplace of both the car and the motorbike. This has lead to it being the city where you can find both the Porsche Museum and the Mercedes-Benz museum as well – brilliant activity options for a car-mad stag – just one of the many reasons that Stuttgart Stag Dos have come to the fore in recent years.

How to get there?

Direct flights to Stuttgart are currently exclusive to London airports, but don’t let that put you off. Trust me when I say that Stuttgart is so good that it’s worth a little bit of travel time this side to ensure you have the best time possible. Once you and the lads arrive on your Stuttgart Stag Do, you can ensure that you are ferried to your accommodation by private transport, and pretty soon you’ll be enjoying a Weissbier (or Dunkelbier) and relaxing into an amazing weekend.

Where to stay?

There are loads of accommodation options for your Stuttgart Stag Do to take advantage of. Whatever your desires or budgets may be, there’ll be something that matches what you are after. If you just want somewhere nice and cheap that has a bed to sleep in and not much more, then one of the well-located hostels tends to be a great idea. If you fancy something a bit more luxurious, then there are plenty of high quality hotels dotted around the city that can give you exactly what you are looking for.

Popular activities

We’ve already discussed the two famous automobile museums as possible activities, but don’t worry, we’re not just going to recommend museums – it's not a school trip after all. A Stuttgart Stag Do has many other brilliant activity options to entertain you and the boys throughout the weekend.

The most popular activity for a Stuttgart Stag Do tends to be the Beer Bike. This is a classic activity, popular in many German locations, and is a deceptively simple concept. You and the lads are sat around what is essentially a giant bar on wheels, and each of you have a set of pedals. You’ll all have a drink and a laugh as you power this unusual vehicle around the streets of Stuttgart, with a guide steering and telling you all about the area, to give you a proper tour.

Other popular activities are often beer related – the Brewery Tour is an absolute classic for any Stuttgart Stag Do, for example, as it shows you just how pure German beer is when brewed, in comparison with our own somewhat complicated brews. If you fancy a non-alcoholic activity, why not try a session of Kayaking, a game of Paintball or even tackling a high ropes course if you are feeling brave!

The nightlife options on a Stuttgart Stag Do are pretty special as well. To start with, the number of pubs and bars that are available to you is huge and varied, with many different types of drink available at these venues. A guided bar crawl can be a good idea here, as your friendly local guide will show you around the best bars in the area, ply you with complimentary drinks and even entertain you with a game or two if required.

However, if you are looking for something a bit more off the wall for your Stuttgart Stag Do, this city also has some slightly racier options available to you – instead of just going to eat dinner from a table in a restaurant like normal people, why not try a stripper dinner and eat off a beautiful young lady? If you’re not fussed about food, then the semi-naked wrestling is definitely something to consider instead – it’ll be an evening that none of you (especially the stag) will ever forget.

Then of course, there are the normal “end of night” destinations that are as reliable and entertaining as always. You could find yourselves in a nightclub, dancing and drink your way through until morning – it doesn’t matter what type of music you like, this city has a club that will suit you, so just let us know what you want and we’ll make sure that we’ve got some recommendations for when the time comes.

There are also plenty of gentlemen’s clubs that you can visit on your Stuttgart Stag Do (which is always a nice bonus), and if anyone fancies a bit of a gamble, why not hit up a casino or two? After all, you’ve got to get lucky sometime, haven’t you?

That’s just a snatch of the nightlife that Stuttgart has on offer for you – essentially anything you can think of is probably available, which means you can enjoy that rarest of things, a perfect night out.
