The Chester Hen Party House

INTRO

Many Hen parties spend a long time trying to figure out where they want to stay. Do they want hotel rooms? A B&B? Or do they want a hen party house where everyone can do what they want and you can really relax? Most groups want the last option, but are always worried about organising it as well as finding the money to do so. But the good news is that a Hen Party House is often the most financially sensible way to arrange accommodation on a hen do, especially for a decent sized group.

Take the Hen Party House near Chester for example. This is a gorgeous converted Farmhouse that was converted in the 2010’s with the aim of becoming one of the best hen party houses that the area had ever seen. It is a Grade II listed building, so it feels historic, but is also full of modern luxuries and can sleep anywhere up to eighteen guests, making it perfect for a group who just want to have fun!

LOCATION

This Hen Party House is located about 45 mins from Chester (or an hour from Liverpool if you fancy visiting more than one city while you are there!). Whilst being located within driving distance of these two great destinations, it is remote enough that you feel like you are the only people in the world once you are there, which is often what you want on a Hen Do. It’s also easy to get to, located just a few miles from the M6.

INSIDE

This property is everything you would hope to find from a converted farmhouse. Exposed brick, exposed beams, that feeling of comfort and friendliness permeating every aspect of the property. The main rooms that you will all end up congregating in are the lounge, which contains a TV and some of the comfiest sofas you’ve ever encountered, and the snug which is great for a few of you to relax and have a catch up.

KITCHEN AND DINING

The kitchen at this Hen Party House is something to behold. It’s full of all mod-cons including not one but two dishwashers, an American-style fridge freezer (as well as additional separate fridge and freezer) and an electric oven. There’s also the classic oil-fired aga as well, so if you really want to embrace the history of the property, you should definitely use that to cook dinner at least once (or get a private chef in to do it if you fancy being even more decadent!).

There is a dedicated dining room with a sixteen seater dining table for you to use, so you can all sit down and eat together without people having to balance food on their laps or awkwardly eat while sitting on a sofa!

BEDROOMS

As previously mentioned, the property sleeps eighteen people, and it does this across a total of seven bedrooms, which are set out as follows:

BEDROOM 1: King Size with En-Suite

BEDROOM 2: King Size with En-Suite

BEDROOM 3: King Size and an extra bed with En-Suite

BEDROOM 4: King Size with En-Suite

BEDROOM 5: King Size and a single bed with En-Suite

BEDROOM 6: 4 Single Beds

BEDROOM 7: King Size

BATHROOMS

There’s no worries about running out of bathroom space in this Hen Party House either. As you can see from the list of the bedrooms above, five of them have en-suites, and there is also an additional master bathroom and a wet room as well, so there are a total of seven bathrooms for seven bedrooms (which is NOT the sequel to “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and is instead just a fact).

In short, no-one will be caught short by the bathrooms all being in use at the same time – you should always be able to find space to get yourselves ready to go out.

OUTSIDE

This Hen Party House sounds pretty perfect right about now, doesn’t it? But what’s the thing all Hen Party Houses need that I haven’t mentioned yet? If you said “Hot Tub” then you would be correct. Yes, there is a hot tub outside the house under a timber framed veranda – a perfect place for you and some of the girls to relax and sip a drink or three at any time of the day or night.

That’s not all that there is outside, of course, as there is also a gorgeous lawned area with colourful borders, so whether you just want to have a picnic outside, enjoy the gorgeous blooms or engage in any activity you fancy (everything from croquet to yoga and more besides has been tried on this lawn) – there’s plenty to keep you happy when outside. There’s also an array of tables and chairs as well, so if you just want to sit out and watch the sunset (or the sunrise if you are one of those crazy morning people), then you can do so in comfort and in style.

Pretty great, right? This Hen Party House can really enhance any hen do that you may be planning – and located as it is close to Chester and within a reasonable distance from Liverpool, it can be a perfect base for any weekend, no matter what selection of activities you were looking to get up to.
