INTRO

Welsh Valley Manor is the sort of place where the name gives you an idea of what to expect. It’s a Manor house located in the centre of Wales, surrounded by beautiful views and calm skies, it’s the sort of place that is perfect for any stag or hen party away where the appeal is to spend time with the people who are coming with you, rather than trying to be constantly on the move.

Able to sleep up to a whopping forty people, and with enough parking to ensure there aren’t any transport problems whatsoever, this is a manor house where the party comes to you, rather than you going to the party, and let’s be honest, that sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?

LOCATION

Located smack-bang in the centre of rural Wales, this Welsh Valley Manor has the advantage of being easy to get to while still remaining remote and secluded, perfect for anyone planning a weekend away. It’s also very well located if you fancy exploring the area, as the Wye Valley walk is located just at the end of the driveway, so within a few minutes you’ll be exploring the astounding countryside.

INSIDE

This Manor house is as gorgeous as you might expect it to be. Built in the 19 ^th century, it’s been updated to include all mod cons while at the same time retaining its classic aesthetic and feel, making it a perfect venue for you and your group to feel as if you are getting away from it all but without having to make any compromises over your luxuries or facilities.

In short, you’ll feel as if you are living the luxurious life of a nobleperson from the 19 ^th century while also still being able to charge your phone and eat whatever you want whenever you want – which is the best of all possible situations, I think you will agree.

KITCHEN AND DINING

As you would expect from a property of this size, there is a fully equipped kitchen on site, giving you the freedom to cook for as large or small a group as you would like – and with plenty of dining space as well, no-one will be left out or find themselves having to eat off their lap on the sofa – quite the opposite here! In fact, you could go the whole hog, hire a professional chef and put on a huge high-class banquet for your guests, and it'd be absolutely perfect.

The main dining room has two exceptionally long tables, meaning that all of your guests can gather together in one room to eat, drink and be merry at any time of the day or night.

BEDROOMS

As mentioned earlier, Welsh Valley Manor sleeps up to forty people. It manages this by having twenty bedrooms – yes, that’s right, there are TWENTY bedrooms on site here, so with a maximum of two people in each room, you’ll enjoy the sort of privacy that can sometimes be lacking in other giant houses where rooms often sleep three or more.

BATHROOMS

As a follow on from the twenty bedrooms discussion, the amazing thing is that they are ALL en-suite rooms. So that means that there are twenty bathrooms at the Welsh Valley Manor, which means that no-one will ever be running short of a shower or a mirror – a situation that we’ve all found ourselves in on other weekends away I am sure!

ENTERTAINMENT ROOMS

With so many bedrooms, you might be worried that this house is lacking in communal space, but I am pleased to tell you that is not the case either! This house has a drawing room, lounge and various other nooks and crannies throughout the interior that provide ample space for you and your guests to do whatever it is you want to do. Watch TV, read a book, chat incessantly into the night, play cards or just sit in front of the large open fire – all of these options and so many more are available at the Welsh Manor – it sounds idyllic, doesn’t it?

There’s also a piano, a conservatory with amazing views and even your own private bar, all well-kept and beautifully maintained, so that you can utilise any or all of them to your hearts content throughout your weekend away.

OUTSIDE

You thought the inside of this house sounded impressive, you haven’t heard anything yet! As you might expect from a manor house in rural Wales, there are some outstanding views from the garden over the impressive countryside nearby. There’s a large garden for you to relax in and the river Irfon is right next to the property, so if you are a fan of fishing, you could try and catch something? In fact, there’s an abundance of wildlife in and around the property – the advantage of their being various habitats on-site including the previously mentioned river, a cliff and an array of bushes and trees. Oh, and did I mention that there’s a BBQ? So if you fancy a bit of outdoor dining while enjoying the views, that’s easily accomplished as well.

As well as all of this, there’s a hot tub in the property, which is always a perfect place to spend a summers evening – relaxing with a drink and some good friends. But that’s not all – there’s also an above-ground pool outside, complete with sun loungers and additional seating, so whether you want a swim or just want to hang out by the pool while other people do the energetic bit (of actually swimming), then the Welsh Valley Manor is going to tick all of your boxes.
