INTRO

Sometimes on a hen do you want to find the most idyllic destination known to humankind. Somewhere quiet, somewhere serene, somewhere you can all have a great time without getting into any trouble, all while staying in a Luxury Party House. Well, if that’s the sort of thing that you are interested in, have I got the place for you! Willow Creek is the sort of place you’d only ever see on Downtown Abbey or Bridgerton – an exceedingly posh house that will give you all the opportunity to be ladies of the manor, and live up to your wildest Renaissance fantasies while still spending your weekend in the height of modern luxuries – the best of both worlds. It can also sleep up to thirty-three people, so even if you’ve got a large party, you know that you’ll be well accommodated!

LOCATION

Willow Creek is located in the gorgeous Lincolnshire countryside – it feels like it’s a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but the city of Lincoln is only twenty minutes drive away, so you aren’t on your own and can easily get to civilisation if you needed to. But to be honest, most of the appeal of this Luxury Hen House is to find yourselves in the middle of nowhere, where you and the gang can really relax and entertain yourselves. And believe me, this house is incredibly relaxing.

INSIDE

The first thing that you’ll see on entering is the absolutely huge entrance hall, complete with chairs, mirror and a stunning staircase, with red carpet running down the middle of it (of course) to really make you feel special. The property also has both a lounge and sitting room, giving you space for you and your guests to really relax, chat and put the world to rights, as well as watching a bit of TV if the mood takes you!

KITCHEN AND DINING

There is a huge, well equipped kitchen at Willow Creek, so whether you are only using it to cook bacon sandwiches, or whether you are utilising it to it’s full extent by creating a seven course banquet, you won’t have any issues. Everything is modern and well maintained, so whether it’s yourselves doing the cooking or whether you are planning on going the whole hog and hiring a private chef for a special meal, no-ones going to have any complaints about what they can or cannot do in the kitchen!

There’s a large dining room with two long tables, where there is enough space to sit every guest staying at the house without any hassle, so you can all sit down and eat there – the kitchen also has a more casual dining area within it as well, with seats and a table in case you just want a quick snack while chatting away in the kitchen. (After all, wasn’t it the poet Jona Lewie who famously said “You will always find me in the kitchen at parties?”)

BEDROOMS

“Where are we going to sleep?” is a question very commonly asked when planning any kind of hen do, and as you might imagine from a luxury hen house of this size and quality, the answer is “wherever you fancy it!” There are a whopping ten bedrooms in the property, with all kinds of combinations of beds (as detailed below).

BATHROOMS

As you can see from the list of bedrooms above, seven of them have their own en-suites, and there’s also another bathroom as well as a pair of downstairs cloakrooms. This means that whether you are going out for the night, recovering in the morning or just getting glammed up for a night at home, there shouldn’t be any point where everyone is in a queue for the bathroom. In fact, it should turn out that there’s always somewhere free for you to have a shower or do your make-up.

ADDITIONAL ENTERTAINMENT ROOMS

As well as the lounge, sitting room, kitchen and dining rooms, there are also a pair of entertainment rooms on the ground floor – one of which is a cinema room filled with reclining chairs and a state of the art display and sound system to allow you to watch films in style, and then next to that is a games room that contains a pool table an air hockey table and a TV with a video games console hooked up, so whatever you feel like being competitive at, you’ll be able to do it in this amazing room!

OUTSIDE

Outside at this luxury Hen House is just as impressive as inside, as you are surrounded by amazing countryside views and have access to private formal gardens and paddock land, so whether you just want a quick look around, a longer walk or even a picnic, all of these options are open to you. And then, of course, there’s the outside swim/spa which is a cross between a swimming pool and a hot tub, and if you think that sounds amazing, then you’d be absolutely right! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of prosecco or two at any time of the day or night!
