Intro
If you want a weekend with a difference, and love the great outdoors then look no further than a fantastic glamping experience in Nottingham. The Glamp put the ‘Glam’ in Glamping. You cannot get any more luxurious than this. Equipped with every camping necessity you need and spacious tent ‘apartments’, the whole group can stay together under the same roof! The are 3 camping options offered, the smallest tent sleeping 3, to the largest sleeping up to 16 people.
Location
This site is located just East of Nottingham, only a short 20 minute drive. Situated beside the River Trent this nature hugging camping ground is perfect for all fun and games you plan on having throughout the weekend. We can offer mobile activities that will come to you, dance classes under the sunset or even a butler to join in on the silly games, everyone is welcome at The Glamp. If it’s the outdoor adventure that you are after, then we also have some brilliant activities offered on site that the adrenaline junkies in your group would love to get involved in.
Living area & Dining area
All 3 tent options offered vary in size (sleeping 3, 5 or 16) but all share similar communal living areas. The tepee ceilings mean the space feels larger than you’d think, with small and effective décor to feel homely. Combined with the natural light and airy feel, the indoor plants, rugs, and cushions bring the space together to become a perfect social hub for game playing, eating, drinking and making new memories amongst friends.
Kitchen
Although the accommodation doesn’t include a fully equipped kitchen area, the site are able to provide food packs for breakfast, pizzas, grazes and even BBQ packs. There are top of the range BBQ facilities available to use, so who even needs an oven and microwave? You will however have a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in your tent so the essentials are covered and your Prosecco stays chilled. Fires are welcomes and you can buy firewood from the camp shop to start up a campfire and even order a takeaway if your heart desires. If fast food and take way is not your tipple though, you have all the restaurants and cafes of your pick in the city centre of Nottingham, simply jump in a taxi or we can arrange return minibus transfers for your group as part of your package!
Bedrooms
As mentioned, the varied tent sizes mean the bedrooms vary too. All tents will share a mixture of single and doubles beds, with proper mattresses and bed frames so you won’t even notice you will be sleeping under the stars as you will feel like home in 100% comfort. The bedrooms include small windows for light and fresh air as well as your own bedside units with heaters and even electricity charging points.
